Before commencing joining procedure ensure all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn according to the Material Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and follow all safety instructions marked on the bottle. When joining, the joining procedure should be followed to AS/NZS 3879 ensuring the pipe has been cut square and deburred. Use the Bostik applicators to wipe joints to be bonded, ensuring that the surfaces have been wiped thoroughly and deglossed prior to fitting. When using Bostik Red Priming Fluid a noticeable pink stain will remain where pipes and fittings have been correctly primed.

The membrane does not bond to the rubber resulting in a high elongation and flexible bond breaker in the finished joint system.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS• Prior to applying Bostik N40 Primer the substrate must be sound,

dry, clean and free from any dust, residue or contamination and meet the requirements of substrate preparation detailed in the applicable Sealant or Membrane Technical Data Sheet. Bostik primers, sealants or membranes must not be applied to unpredictable absorptive surfaces such as marble, limestone or granite unless a standard of appearance has been agreed on a result of testing for stain and/or discoloration.
