WHAT IS SUPER ZOMBIE STRIKERS?

Super Zombie Strikers takes the popular Zombies game mode to the extreme. Players across the country will be randomly divided into three-person teams to fight off waves of Zombies. Each new wave is harder than the last by an increase in number and variety of monsters.

When certain waves are defeated, players unlock new rooms. Players receive special powers by racking up their Killstreak, or by reviving fallen teammates with Medpacks. If every member of a team falls, the game ends. Players’ scores are based on their average number of waves completed per game.

QUICK GUIDE

If all players are downed simultaneously, their game ends!

Players acquire special items and abilities.

Players can pick up Medpacks and use them to heal or revive teammates.

Players get special powerups by attaining a high Killstreak.

A player’s Killstreak resets when they use their powerup or are downed.

The goal is to beat as many waves as possible.

When all players on a team are downed at the same time, their game ends. The wave they were on is recorded as their score that game.

Players Spawn in Room 1.

Assigned to random teams of 3.

Choose 1 of 5 Heroes to play as.

Players fight consecutive waves of monsters.

Each wave is bigger and stronger than the last.

Certain “Boss Waves” unlock additional rooms.

Players are downed if they lose all their hitpoints.

Downed players can fight, but can’t move and can’t see very well.

Downed Players can be revived with a Medpack, or when their team advances to the next wave.

HOW TO PLAY

Downed Players and Reviving Teammates

If a player loses all their hitpoints by monster attacks, they’ll be “downed.” A downed player will not be able to see very far, and can’t move, but can still attack enemies that they can reach. At the end of each wave, downed players will be revived and all players will regenerate some health. Players can also directly heal or revive their teammates by using a Medpack.

If all players on a team are downed at the same time, their game ends and their score is recorded.

Killstreaks

Each player has a personal “Killstreak,” the number of monsters they’ve defeated since they were last downed Players receive special powerups at certain Killstreak milestones. Only 1 powerup can be held at a time. New powerups will replace the last one unlocked. Once a Killstreak powerup is used, that player’s Killstreak returns to zero. In addition, a player’s Killstreak returns to zero if they are downed.

Spawning

When the game begins, players appear or “spawn” in Room 1 and can choose 1 of 5 Heroes, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.

Fighting Monsters

A handful of monsters will spawn near the players when the game begins. Players must use their hero’s abilities to defeat the monsters. When the wave of monsters is destroyed, players will regenerate some health, and a new wave of monsters will spawn.

Boss Waves and Unlocking Rooms

Most waves are generated randomly, but occasionally a “Boss Wave” will spawn. When these harder waves are defeated, the next room of the map unlocks. Unlocking rooms grants access to new environments to fight in and additional opportunities to get Medpacks.

STRUCTURE & SCHEDULE

The 10 players with the highest average scores will win prizes

Special prizes will also be awarded to the player with the:

• Most Games Played

• Overall Highest Wave

• Most Revives

• Most Kills

Tournament Day

• Check Tournament Central for leaderboards and support.

Tournament Structure

Players must buy a ticket for the tournament at superleague.com

On Saturday, April 7th, between 10am-2pm PT/1pm – 5pm ET, registered players must compete in a minimum of 5 matches to qualify for prizing. Players will be randomly placed on a team of 3 for each match, but scoring will be on an individual basis.

The goal in every match is for the team to reach the highest wave of Zombies without all team members dying. The match only ends when every member of the team is downed at the same time.

A player’s individual match score is equal to the highest wave their team reached.

A player’s overall individual is based on the average of all matches played for thetournament.

(i) one of the fifty (50) states of the United States of America,

(ii) Washington, D.C., (iii) one of the sixteen (16) territories of the United States of America,

or (iv) Canada

To participate in Super Zombie Strikers:

1. Complete the sign-up process. (See below)

2. Have Minecraft account with Minecraft: Java Edition

3. Have computer that meets minimum specs and access to internet.

4. Be age 17 or under.

To earn prizes in Super Zombie Strikers:

The tournament winner will receive a Nickelodeon gaming rig. Runners-up will receive a Nickelodeon Lap Desk, Nickelodeon Slime Sticker sheet, Gaming Keyboard, Mouse, and Headphones. The winners of the special prizes (Overall Highest Wave, Most Games Played, Most Revives, and Most Kills) will also win the Lap Desk and Sticker Sheet.
