What is Digital Storytelling?

It is creating a story or telling a story using a combination of images, digital graphics, text, and audio.

Step 1: Topic

Think about a topic: What story do you want your students to tell?

The topic we will developing is: My Mini-Autobiography

Step 2: Gather your materials

For the purpose of this project we will need:2.1 Technology: Make sure your computer have PhotoStory3 Program. If it doesn’t download it from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=92755126-a008-49b3-b3f4-6f33852af9c1

2.2 Story board Template: The contents of your story board are: Me: Name Your country of origin flag: Your nationality Language you teach Your hobby: Spare time Your favorite book: Why? Your favorite food Free picture of something you would like to share about

you.

Step 2: Gather your materials (Cont)

2.3 Gather your digital pictures: Use the pictures you downloaded during the online Module Two training. You can change pictures if you wish to so.

Step 3: Create your Story Board Fill out template you downloaded. See Example on next slide. Make sure your text matches the picture for each slide.
