79. 14/65591/FUL – FORMER MEADOWS CAMPUS SITE, MEADOW ROAD, SALFORD – ERECTION OF 93 DWELLINGS AND ASSOCIATED WORKS
RESOLVED: THAT planning permission be granted, subject to (a) the revised list of planning conditions set out in the amendment report, (b) condition 4 being amended to require samples and details of materials to be agreed in discussion with the Chair of the Panel and (c) viability information being agreed with the Chair of the Panel, and that:-
(i) The Strategic Director of Environment and Community Safety be authorised to enter into a legal agreement, if it is not appropriately covered in the existing Development Agreement, under Section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act to secure the following heads of terms should it be financially viable to do so (as agreed with the Chair of the Panel):

Public Realm Infrastructure and Heritage Provision, Construction Training Contribution. Climate Change Contribution. Affordable Housing Contribution. Education;

(iii) Authority be given for the decision notice relating to the application to be issued (subject to the revised conditions and reasons listed in the amendment report) on completion of the above-mentioned legal agreement.
