Pitch for my TV advert.

Original idea.

The existing brand for my product is Nike and I'm creating a new set of boots to help academy players record their stats and how well they are performing. There will be sensors in the soles and studs and they will transmit the information to a computer.The name of my product will be Nike lasertechs.I feel this product is appropriate for the client as Nike are popular for their football boots and I feel due to their popularity I feel it will sell more, also due to my target audience I feel they work because especially academy players want to know how good they are.

Target audience • Male aged 16-21.• They will have about £100-£200 to spend.• They will play for the football academy so they will use these boots to help track

their progress.• I will use focus groups to help identify my target audience more, these will be my

classmates of about 3-4 people giving feedback.

Technical resources: • Camera• Laptop• Tri Pod• Football boots.• USB stick

• Deadlines: advert pre production 12th may, ideas/research pitch to professional standards 8th may, production 16th may, final production 23rd may and post production 6th June.

Technical constraints.

• Time to record on a pitch, make sure I go early and have all the equipment.

• Actor might not be available, check that he is ok doing it and find out what times he is free.

• The fit all the information in 30 seconds, make sure my advert is straight to the point and doesn’t drag on.

• Hard to show what my product can do.

CONTENT.• Going to have one main actor using my product and doing the relevant

sports for it.• He’s going to be playing on a football pitch using a football doing skills and

running.• Using mid-shots to focus on the product.• I’m thinking about using a track from FIFA 14.

Conditions of reception: I hope my audiences will respond positively to my idea but the target audience affects their opinion as its mostly aimed at males. I want them to think that it is a good idea and could work in real life.

Message of advert: If you are a young footballer and you want to know how good you are then buy these boots and they will help improve your overall play.

Style: the style of my advert is realistic as I’m using a real actor and a real location so this makes it more professional as the audience can relate to my actor. Its going to be quite dramatic as the advert will be full off suspense about these new boots. Its going to be quite formal as it has a narrator over the advert and we need to take him seriously.
