Inground Luminaires

Pathway Luminaires Low level Pathway Luminaires with cutoff optics are available with side arm or vertical stem mounts for pathway lighting. Accent Light Luminaires mounted on stems may also be used for pathway illumination.

ALV Series Inground Luminaires may be mountedin soil or concrete thanks to their stainless steel niche, which also provides easy access for relamping. Three bezels are available: flush lens, eyelid or directional shield.

Selecting LensesRecessed (flat) lenses are the most economical option, and are perfect for downlighting. Flush (machined) lenses allow water to drain more easily off uplight luminaires.

Spread LensesLinear or Prismatic spread lens accessories are available for 12V or 120V Accent Lights. Spread lenses are placed inside the luminaire, behind the primary lens, and held in place by a metallic retainer.

The design considerations, concepts and techniques used to develop a 120-Volt lighting plan are virtually the same as those used for Low Voltage systems. However, due to their greater efficacy, fewer luminaires may be required. Each HID luminaire requires a ballast to start and operate the lamp, so you will have to plan ballast locations.

Corrosion-Resistant Materials

Unique Lens OfferingRecessed (flat) or Flush (machined) lenses are tempered glass, and are mechanically retained in the shield by a system that provides a compressive force and positive seal.

Posi-Seal ProtectionProvides reliable protection against water and dirt intrusion. O-rings used to seal the fixture and lens are constructed of high temperature silicone or Viton™ fluoroelastomer material. Posi-Seal eliminates the need for RTV silicone adhesive.

ALV Mounting Stems and Accessories for Sign LightingAvailable accessories allow ALV Series luminaires to be used as Wall Mounted Sign Lights* in either single or double configurations. Goosenecks, Hooks and Mounting Stems are machined aircraft-grade aluminum tubing that is protected against corrosion by a chromate conversion process and a polyester powder coat finish. These mounting accessories feature 1/2" NPSM threaded stainless steel connectors to ensure trouble-free installation and maintenance. Wall mounted junction boxes, transformer and ballast enclosures are also available.

*Change AL to SL when specifying luminaires for use as Sign Lights. SL – Sign Lights have extended leads for use with mounting stems, goosenecks and hooks.

Wall Mounted Cylinders Wall Mounted Cylinders are available in three configurations: Uplight, Downlight, and Uplight/Downlight Combination for Line Voltage Incandescent HID PAR20 lamps or Low-Voltage MR16 lamps.
