# DSM2-EM-MINIManual Bind 2.4 Ghz DSM2 Rx.

Thank you for purchasing this Xenon made DSM2 Rx.

They can be used with any DSM2 Tx handpiece.

When binding to a Tx, keep the Tx and Rx at least 1 x

metre apart.

1. DESCRIPTION. Compatible with all DSM2/DSMX transmitters.Receiver for Live Steam locos. Drives servos, directional lights, etc.Suitable for use with RCS Centre OFF COBRA-260 ESC's. Plus Low OFF ESC's such as OMEGA-10.N.B. If using , battery pack can be connected to any vacant servo terminal.# BINDER2. BINDING.1. A battery supply is not needed with ESC's.2. Insert binding plug or # BINDER in battery connection pins.3. Turn ON battery pack or ESC. RX LED will flash rapidly.4. Keep Tx handpiece at least a metre away from the TX.5. Press and hold bind button on Tx & Press Tx ON button. Hold until Rx LED is OFF.6. After some 5 - 10 seconds, Rx LED will start flashing more slowly then go solid ON.7. Binding is complete.8. Remove binding plug before operation.3. FAIL SAFE.These Rx’s have Failsafe on Ch # 1. That Failsafe must be programmed appropriately. Centre OFF ESC. Set failsafe to Neutral.Low OFF ESC. Set Failsafe to full CCWHow to set Fail Safe.1). Make sure throttle is at the selected position.2). Do binding with BIND PLUG ONLY & always keep throttle at the selected position.3). After binding is complete, keep throttle at lowest position for another 3 seconds.4). Then remove bind plug and cycle power OFF and then ON again.

©RCS installation kits are fitted with Polyswitch solid state auto reset fuses.Do not exceed 7 amps without checking with us. For use up to 50 watts with COBRA-260. JST connectors are also supplied with most RCS Installation kits.
