Mr. Anil Bhalla
Chairman & Managing Director
Mr. Anil Bhalla – Managing Director – Vatika Group has established a name for himself and the group by successfully setting up a large number of real estate projects. He holds a Master’s degree in Commerce. The Vatika Group has successfully completed large commercial and residential developments in the region and Mr. Bhalla has been the key person for major technical developments in almost all the ventures. His dynamic leadership, spirit and strong vision are the key skills in driving the business to success.

Deputy Managing Director
Mr. Gautam Bhalla – Deputy Managing Director, Vatika Limited has been instrumental in the growth of the company. Rather than resting on past laurels he aims to make Vatika achieve greater heights. He is B.Sc. in Accounting and Finance from Lehigh University. He has worked with KPMG and joined Vatika Group in 2001. Within a time span of almost a decade he has been the major force in delivering world class residential and commercial projects by Vatika.

Deputy Managing Director
Mr. Gaurav Bhalla – Deputy Managing Director – Vatika Hotels is the key force in creating Vatika Hospitality a benchmark in the NCR. Within a short span of less than a decade, Mr. Bhalla has made Vatika Hospitality a brand to reckon with. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Management from University of Buckingham UK and a diploma in Business Management from Harvard University. He joined the Vatika Group in 2001 soon after completing his Masters and has worked in Hotel Hyatt Regency, New Delhi, prior to this.

Hotels & Resorts, in association with Starwood Hotels. Vatika
Hospitality has set its benchmark with the opening of its first Westin
property: The Westin Sohna Resort and Spa, an upscale resort

Vatika’s The Westin Gurgaon is a flagship hotel which features 300
rooms, five dining outlets, 15,000 sq. ft. of meeting and function

At 56, Ristorante Italiano, located at Vatika Atrium, Gurgaon, the guests are taken through a journey of culinary all the way from North to South of Italy. It has 80 table covers apart from an amphitheatre.

Jing
Jing, located at Vatika Towers, derives its name from the Chinese
equivalent of 'capital of a country'. This name was chosen to
emphasize that Jing is, figuratively, the capital of all Chinese cuisine
destinations in India. It has 144 table covers.
Vcater
Vcater is the catering division of Vatika Hospitality which consistently
delivers creative experiences by offering original aromas & tastes from
speciality kitchens. Vcater brings the best of its fine dining experience
at your doorstep.

Vatika Business Centre offers professional office spaces to match business needs. Our centres are readily furnished with premium fit-outs, ergonomically designed furniture, an in-house IT support team. As a part of service industry, the dress code in the organization is formal wear. It includes
business formals and semi-formals. Saris and suits are allowed for females.

HR Guide
Please Note: Below mentioned are quick reference guidelines. Each employee must go
through the detailed policies mentioned on Vconnect. All the updated policies are as
uploaded on Vconnect.
Timings: The official timings are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. However, employees working in various sites will be advised by their respective HOD’s regarding the same. Attire: Formals. Employees working in various sites should be in uniform provided by the Company. Attendance: Attendance is tracked through biometrics (finger print) as well as Vconnect (internal portal).Employees working in various sites will have to mark the muster roll as well. The official timings or the time schedule approved by the HODs will be adhered to. However, 15 minutes grace time is allowed for 3 times in a month. Salary: Salary is credited on 7th of every month. Salary slips can be viewed through VConnect. Deductions are based on attendance, TDS, Professional taxes, Loans, Advances etc. Reimbursement as like Medical Reimbursement, Leave travel Allowance (as per the actuals) to be claimed along with the submission of bills on or before 31st March. Leaves: Quantum of leave per year is as follows:
Earned 18 days (24 days for the hospitality division operational staff in Vatika Hospitality)
Casual 6 days
Sick 6 days
During probation, employees can avail of Sick Leave & Casual Leave. Earned Leaves shall be credited to all confirmed employees only.
Leaves are credited on a prorata basis, beginning calendar year.
Leave to be availed only after it is sanctioned by the HOD and HR department. Reimbursement: Reimbursement for local travel (subject to change as per prevailing conditions) is as follows:
Own 2 wheeler Rs. 4.00/ km (excluding bicycle)
Own 4 wheeler Rs. 8.00/ km
Bus/ Auto/ Taxi etc. As per actual
Following mode of conveyance can be used by an employee
L1 – L4 Own Vehicle/ AC Taxi/ Taxi
L5 – L8 Own Vehicle (Four/Two wheeler)/ Auto/ Taxi
L9 – L10 Own Two wheeler/ Public transport/ Auto (if necessary)/ four wheeler (on authorization by admin. for specific work only)
W1 – W3 Own Two wheeler/ Public transport/ Three wheeler (on authorization by HOD/Admin department)

Rest & Meal Periods: Employees are allowed with one meal period of 30 min on each working day. Display of ID Card & Name Badges: All employees while on duty/or on company premises shall be required to display their ID card and name badges at all times. Employee conduct: To ensure timely operations and provide the best possible work environment, Vatika expects employees to follow rules of conduct that will protect the interest and safety of all employees and the Organization.
Participating in illegal strike or abetting the same.
Leaking out any confidential information to the Outsiders.
Demanding, taking or giving bribes/gifts or any illegal gratification or indulging in amy
corrupt practice and/ or lending and borrowing money to and from subordinate
employees.
Refusal to work on holidays or on off days when required to do so, refusal to work
overtime, in the exigencies of Employer’s business/work not withstanding any
statutory provisions.
Unauthorized use of Employer’s facility/equipment or any other thing for personal
cause.
Absence from place of work without the permission of the departmental head.
Habitual neglect of work or negligence in work.
Wilful disfigurement, destruction or alteration or forgery of any record/file of the
Employer.
Non-observance of safety measures or failure to use safety appliances like helmets,
seat belts, etc or interference with safety devices or firefighting equipment or
disobedience of a safety instruction by the superior.
Use of alcohol/ drug within the premises of Vatika or while on duty is completely
restricted and may lead to strict disciplinary action upto the extent of termination of
employment.
Sexual and unlawful harassment will not be tolerated. Actions, words, jokes, or
comments based on an individual’s sex, race, color, religion, age, disability, national
origin, sexual orientation or any other legally protected characteristic should be
avoided.
Grievance Handling: An employee having a grievance shall intimate the same to his/her HOD through an e-mail or writing. The HOD should give a reply for the grievance within two working days. If the employee doesn’t get a reply for the grievance from HOD, he can then send a copy to the HR/Admin Department. The HR/Admin department should settle the matter within next two working days. In case the matter is not sorted out within seven working days, he/she is free to communicate the same to the Executive director.

Group mediclaim policy: Employees above the gross salary bracket of Rs.15000/- of Vatika Group are covered under Mediclaim Policy. (Refer Vconnect) ESI: Employees below the gross salary bracket of Rs.15000/- of Vatika Group are covered under ESI. Self and dependant family members are covered as per government norms. Group personnel accident policy: All employees of Vatika are covered in this policy and the amount allotted is based on the designation. (Refer vconnect) Group gratuity scheme: Payment of Gratuity at the rate of 15 days salary for every completed year of service subject to maximum ceiling of Rs. 10 lakhs. 5 years of employment at Vatika is mandatory. Group insurance scheme: All employees of Vatika are covered in this policy. Maternity Benefits
All the confirmed female employees are eligible for Maternity Benefits.
Paid leave for 12 weeks. One hour relaxation thereafter for 1 month.
Light work. Must inform at least 10 weeks before expected date of delivery Scholarship Scheme Children of Employees will be considered for scholarship on merit basis. Students of Class III to Class VI will be awarded scholarships of Rs.500/-students of class VII – IX Rs.750/-, students of class X – XII Rs 1000/- per month each based on merit. Higher Education Assistance Course fee/Part course fee of an Employee will be reimbursed by the company. Prior approval and intimation is must.
