As a typography exploration, design a conference put on by

a leading organization in one field of study. This will take

place in a particular venue and city. The job will be to create a

conference, which addresses a pertinent issue facing the topic

of one subject. Key words to focus on are: experimentation,

    discovery, change, future, deep.

    Project Concept

We are all living in a geometric world, we can see an enormous

variety of shapes everywhere around us, such as in signage,

transportation, architecture, and so on. In this project, I will

help people understand how geometric shapes play a role

in architecture. Geometric shapes are not only aesthetically

pleasing, they have the potential to be provide safe structures

and can help save energy and space.

Buttons have always stood as a vehicle for expressing opinions,

likes, dislikes, hopes and dreams. This goal of this project is to

create a series of buttons that communicate anything you wish.

The series will be packaged in an interesting way and be unified

by a theme. It will serve as an umbrella for personal expression.

    Project Concept

More and more people like to eat sushi in their daily life. As

we know, sushi is a healthy, light and nutritious food that

is very fitting for urban life. In this project, I made a sushi

button series. We could put them on bags, shirts or pants.

We want people to see them everywhere to promote a more

healthy habits and a happier life. Have fun!

    Project Concept

As we know, San Francisco Bay Area is a small crowded

space. There are no more places to plant fresh vegetables

and fruit for urban office people. In order to solve this

problem, I came up with the idea of building a small farm

garden on the roof that lets urban office people grab fresh

vegetables and fruit more easily and more healthily. I t s

cal led Roofarm. Our statement is: Roofarm uti l izes unused

downtown rooftop spaces for farming, al lowing local

business people the opportunity to reap the benefits of

    organically grown fruit and vegetables.

This is a proportional gift package that one would receive

from a type foundry upon purchase of the typefaces. The job

will be to design a package of typefaces with one main type-

face and its family. The word as mentioned above will devel-

op into a subject to elaborate on with depth and meaning.

    Project Concept

Human communication occurs in many different modes,

beyond the written word. In addition to expression through

the voice, we can also use various nonverbal means to

talk. Body painting is one way to express human thoughts,

positions and moods. In this project, I will show the origins

of this communication and how traditional forms affect

    modern body painting.

I chose Terrible beer, which belongs to the Unibroue

brewery company l ine. Through researching Unibroue

Co. I learned that Unibroue brewery is located in Quebec

Canada, putting out some fantastic Belgian style ales with

quirky apocalyptic sounding names. I wanted the concept

to continue this tradition through visual means. Unibroue

draws inspiration from the brewing methods developed

over centuries by Trappist monks in Europe particularly

in Belgium. So I incorporated Abbey patterns within my

design to capture the feel of ancient traditions.
