La sua attività affiancail mondo dell’industria nella sua totalità, dall’industrial design al graphic design, dalla direzione artistica alla consulenza ed affiancamentoaziendale, focalizzando la progettazione degli spaziespositivi per i più importanti marchi presenti nel mercato internazionale. È presente con proprierubriche e scritti sulle più diffuse riviste settoriali in qualità di opinionista e osservatore. Si rivolge al mondo dell'handicap e della terza età attraversolo sviluppo di arredi destinati ai sordociechi pluriminorati, all’infanzia, agli ospedali e alle casedi riposo per anziani. Vive e lavora a Vicenza.

Alfredo Zengiaro. Internationally known architectfor interior design for industrial production, and in particular for kitchens. His activity supportsthe industry within its entirety, from industrial design to graphic design - from stage managing to business consulting, focusing the design ofexhibition spaces of the most famous internationalcompanies. He is also present with his writings in the most popular sectorial magazines as a columnist and observer. He addresses to thedisabled and the third age through a developmentof furniture designed for deaf and blind, to childhood, hospitals and old age homes. He lives and works in Vicenza.

La filosofia del progetto rimanda al binomio vintage – innovazione come totale vocazione versoil vissuto che determina un nuovo stile di vita e di arredo. Questo nuovo stile intende quindi evolvere il minimalismo: dall’approccio all’oggettointeso come essenzialità e purezza delle forme si passa al recupero del razionalismo e della funzionalità più pure, legate all’utilizzo, alle qualitàreali e ai materiali che caratterizzano il prodottocucina. Essenze naturali, aspetti ferrosi, legni masselli e resine effetto cemento, sono presenti e caratterizzanti uno stile che potrebbe prenderedue direzioni distinte e complementari: urban chice rustic charme. Lo stile “urban chic” si esprimeattraverso l’utilizzo della finitura peltro nei metalli,mentre lo stile “rustic charm” si esprime attraverso l’utilizzo della finitura corten nei metalli.Sono due finiture dei metalli ossidati dal tempo,mentre le resine effetto cemento e il legno trasmettono alla vista e al tatto un effetto “live”. È quindi di scena il metallo, attraverso la sua forzaespressiva e ai suoi abbinamenti sensoriali, conuno sguardo al futuro e uno al passato. Massimapersonalizzazione per creare un moderno “laboratorio cucina”, in cui gli elementi pensati nel concept progettuale di “cucina destrutturata”

possono fondersi ed integrarsi in una perfettacomponibilità, in uno spazio completo dedicato alla convivialità e al total living. La “cucina destrutturata” viene identificata dalle zone operativee dai relativi elementi: Blocco cottura-lavaggio siaa parete che ad isola, blocchi dispensa e contenimento elettrodomestici, blocchi operativi-preparazione-snack, basi funzionali in lamiera di metallo. I blocchi operativi possono integrarsiperfettamente anche in un tradizionale lay-out di progetto basi-pensili. Cucina quindi concepitaattraverso elementi fortemente identificativi e caratterizzanti il binomio marchio aziendale-prodottoche ripropone, attraverso nuove funzioni e materiali,un nuovo modo di progettare gli spazi della casa. The philosophy of the project refers to the couple“vintage – innovation” intended as vocation towards the past which sets a new life style and design. This new style proposes to evolve theminimalism: from the contact to object intended as simplicity and clearness of shapes to the recovery of rationalism and functionality, tied to the real qualities and to the materials thatcharacterise the kitchen. Natural essences, ironlooks, solid woods and cement effect resins markout a style which might undertake two different butcomplementary directions: urban chic and rustic charm. The style “urban chic” expressesitself through the usage of pewter finish on metals,whereas the style “rustic charm” expresses itselfthrough the usage of weathering steel finish onmetals. These are two finishes of metals oxidizedby time, whereas the cement effect resins and the wood give to sight and touch a “live” effect.The metal is on stage, through its descriptivepower and its sensorial combinations, with a lookto the future and one to the past. Maximum customisation to create a modern “kitchen studio”,where the elements thought in the concept planning of the “broke up” kitchen can merge and integrate perfectly, in a whole space dedicatedto conviviality and total living. The “broke up” kitchen is identified by working areas and theirconnected elements: cooking and washing up area – both in an island or on a wall – storageareas and appliances areas, snack preparationareas, functional base made of metal sheet. The working areas can perfectly integrate in a traditional layout made of base and wall units.A kitchen seen through strongly connotative elements characterising the couple company trademark – product which proposes again,through new functions and materials, a new wayof designing the home space.

Arts&Crafts > Rustic CharmIn tutta la composizione predomina il legno di noce canaletto, presente nella struttura delle colonne-dispensa,dei pensili sospesi con ante in vetro fumè grigio, nella boiserie,nelle mensole e nel piano snack. Noce canaletto anche per il vassoio delle basi a terra realizzate in finitura corten. I piani di lavoro, sia a parete che ad isola, vengono supportatida una struttura in acciaio finitura corten e nascono conspessori importanti per creare una base operativa resistenteed affidabile. Sono realizzati in laminam Fokos Rena, lastredi gres porcellanato impiegate per rivestire anche lo schienale.Piano di cottura e lavello in acciaio, coordinati con la cappaad isola in acciaio e corten. La base sospesa del mobilegiorno, in laccato opaco visone, crea con il pensile ad antascatolata in vetro e la boiserie, uno spazio versatile, disinvoltoe aperto al living. Coordinati gli elementi a giorno con mensolea vassoio in legno di noce canaletto. Le maniglie, realizzatein acciaio finitura corten, rappresentano un punto di novitàsia nella presa che nella proposta della finitura. Le colonnecon ante a scomparsa nascondono i forni, il frigorifero e la cantina dei vini.In all settings prevail the canaletto walnut wood, present inthe storage tall units, in the floating wall units with grey smokedglass, in the boiserie, in the shelves and in the breakfast bar.The canaletto walnut is also for the basement of the floorbase units made of weathering steel. The worktops, both inthe island and on the wall, are supported by a thick weatheringsteel structure to create a resistant and reliable working surface.They are made of laminam Fokos Rena, slabs of “gres porcelain”are used also to cover the backsplash. The steel hob and sinkare coordinated with the weathering steel island hood. Thefloating base of the open unit in matt lacquer visone creates,with the wall unit with boxed glass door and the boiserie, a versatile space, open to the living area. The open units arecoordinated with the shelves made of canaletto walnut. The handles, made of weathering steel represent an innovationboth for the grip and the finish. The tall units with vanishingdoors hide the ovens, the fridge and the wine cellar.

Arts&Crafts >Urban ChicIn questo moderno “laboratorio cucina” la dolcezzadel legno di frassino sbiancato caratterizza le ante,la struttura delle colonne e dei pensili con ante scatolate

in vetro, la boiserie a terra, il grande piano quadrato del tavolo e i vassoi delle basi a terra realizzate in finiturapeltro. Il laccato fango opaco è proposto nelle basi collegate al tavolo, nei pensili e nelle boiseries, sia a terra che retrocappa. Il piano di lavoro a parete, realizzato in Laminam Fokos piombo di grande spessore, è supportato da una struttura in acciaio finitura peltro. Con le stesse lastre di gres porcellanato Laminam, ma di spessore inferiore,vengono realizzati sia il top che lo schienale lavello. Pianodi cottura in vetroceramica nero e acciaio e lavello semprein acciaio, in perfetto abbinamento con la cappa in acciaioe finitura peltro. Coordinati gli elementi a giorno con mensolea vassoio in legno di frassino sbiancato. Le maniglie, realizzate in acciaio finitura peltro, rappresentano un puntodi novità sia nella presa che nella proposta della finitura. La colonna con ante a scomparsa nasconde il forno e il frigorifero.In this modern “kitchen studio” the sweetness of bleached ash wood characterises the doors, the structure of tall units and wall units with boxed glass doors, the floor boiserie,the big squared top table and the basements of base unitsmade of pewter finish. The lacquer matt fango is proposedin the base units connected to the table, in the wall unitsand boiseries, both to floor and behind the hood. The worktop on wall run is made of thick Laminam Fokoslead, it is supported by a pewter finish steel support. Withthe same slabs of “gres porcelain” Laminam, but of lowerthickness, are made both the worktop and the backsplashbehind the sink. The black ceramic hob and steel sink are a perfect match with the pewter finish steel hood. The openunits are coordinated with the shelves made of bleachedash. The handles, made of steel pewter finish represent an innovation both for the grip and the finish. The tall unitswith vanishing doors hide the oven and the fridge.
