SIR RASCAL OF CROCKETTBOISE, IDAHO

Brittany Spaniel

Rascal was an awesome dog. He was a hunting dog so he loved to be outside and took off every chance he got. My brother took him to the mountains often and rascal loved being up there with him. His name described him very well, but that's what we loved about him the most. He had a personality and energy that radiated off of him. He was a great dog. He passed away a few year ago, and he is greatly missed.

TIGGER AGE 12NAMPA, IDAHO

Tabby Cat

Tigger was the sweetest cat I've ever had in my whole life. She always had a smile on her little face and was always happy no matter what. My son was 4 when we got Tigger and he would carry her around the house all of the time and she would just smile and purr. Even in her later years when she was sick with thyroid problems and may have been in some pain, she was still the happiest, sweetest cat. Tigger was an example of how I'd like to be in my own life...always have a good attitude and be happy about everything. Our house is not the same without Tigger. We'll always love her.

BABY AGE 2 1/2NAMPA, IDAHO

Mini Schnauzer

Baby is missed by her family so much. She was the sweetest little dog. We went for many long walks and she was always the perfect little dog. Hawthorne (our calico cat) even misses Baby. They came into our home at about the same time so they were buddies. They used to play together all of the time. Baby loved going for rides in the car and enjoyed feeling the wind on her face. She was the best little anyone could ask for.

SKETCH AGE 3OLYMPIA, WASHINGTON

Mixed longhair

She had the want to live and managed to survive and within a couple months was walking again. She didnt get use totally back in one of her paws, but this amazing cat learned to thrive with this disability. She learned to walk again and even learned how to climb. With all this she was still a loyal companion and enjoyed life. Unfortuanetly a year later she lost the battle to the hert disease that she was inflicted with. Although it was very hard for me I still think of her often and she still sleeps with me next to my bed. Her courage and enthusiasm will have me admiring her forever. SHe will be greatly missed

-JERI

Sketch came to me as a 3 month old kitten. I adopted her site unseen. She was about to be killed by her owner. so I basically saved her life. I named her sketch because she was part striped and part blotched so I figured god couldnt make up his mind. So he just sketched her patterns out. Sketch was an amazing cat who was very very intelligent. She was very effectionate and slept right next to me in bed. I think what impressed me the most about her is when we found out that she had heart problems. She developed blood clots and it caused her to become paralized in her rear legs. We almost lost her at this point..

DINI AGE 15SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA

Pomeranian

Dini was my precious baby girl that recently passed away at the age of 15. I first felt lost and lonely without seeing her looking up at me on a daily basis, but realized that I got to spend 15 wonderful years with her. She was with me through the toughest times of my life, and helped me through other losses in my life by standing and laying by me through times of saddening cries. I miss her on a daily basis, she was my everything and adapted her personalities to fit my own, which made us a perfect duo. There is, and will continue to be, a big whole in my heart with her gone, but at least I have all those memories and good times to remember her by.

GUS AGE 2 1/2MIDDLETON, IDAHO

Mini Schnauzer

Gus was the best dog. He was a lover, A lap dog from day one. He cuddled with me from the first night I had him. He was extremely smart. He could sit, shake, bark and turn around on command. I used to love to watch him thinking. He went everywhere with me (weather permitting). He liked to watch the other dogs at the dog park, but never ventured very far away from me. Gus left me way too soon. I was hoping I would have many years with him. I lost him to kidney failure at only 2 1/2. He will always have my heart and I cherish the memories I have of him. Until we meet again, I love you Gus.

PAL AGE 4LAMESA, TEXAS

Collie

Pal was my grandfather & my uncles dog. I found this old photo of them giving Pal a bath, and a small write up about him which reads."Billy (my uncle) and his uncle Philip picked out a puppy one day in 1951. The one they chose was Pal who made himself known by pulling on Billy's shoe laces. Pal turned out to be Billy's protector. When he was only a few years old our neighbor saw Pal keeping Billy off the Hi-way as they walked a long. Another time is when Billy was out in the pasture with the cows and the Bull (they lived on a farm), and all Billy carried with him was a stick and Pal was loyally right by his side." Companions are forever, and even though Pal died young his memory has lasted over 60 years, and will continue to for eternity.

TOOLIE AGE 8COLUMBIA, NORTH

CAROLINAMixed Breed

We drove to NC to pick up the sweetest girl who had had such a hard life. She had a damaged leg that had become infected. The doctors had to remove the leg but Toolie never noticed. As we adopted other dogs with missing limbs, Toolie welcomed them acting as the mom. She nurtured and was wonderful. We miss this sweet girl very much.

SUGAR AGE 10IRONTON

Miniature Rat Terrier

I miss you soo much Sugar and I am so sorry I didn't know you we're going to pass away! I'm sorry I couldn't be next to you holding your paw. Sweet Dreams Baby Girl.....

-KAYLA

My Sugar just died today and I miss her so much she died in her sleep. I miss her paws tipping across the hardwood floors. I miss not being able to let her outside to potty. I miss her snuggled up beside me in bed. She loved popcorn. We have had her since she was a puppy, she loved running and chasing bugs outside. She was the best dog! She was spoiled and could get into the trash faster then I could even think about what she was doing. She loved to go for car rides and walks. If it was raining she would chase the windshield wipers across the window. If she was asleep in bed with us I had to keep a glass of water beside the bed at night because she would get thirsty in the middle of the night.

DAISY MAE AGE 9GRANTVILLE, GEORGIA

Great Dane

Daisy Mae came to me as a 3-year old rescue, starved and abused. She latched on to me for dear life, and became my angel. I lost her to cancer in December 2012, and I miss her every day. She helped raise money for other rescued animals at the Renaissance Fair in Fairburn GA for many years, and I will always miss her. See you at the rainbow bridge, my girl !

CHIQUITA AGE 13PATCHOGUE, NEW YORK

Pug

Chiquita was our family pet for the past 13 years. We have had her since she was a baby. Unfortunately she had to be put down because of a mass on her spleen. She got sick so fast and was not acting herself. To not be with her for the first time on Christmas in 13 years is really tough, but she has been the best dog I could ask for. She loved to follow us around, cuddle, snore, and of course eat. She was a mush and very spoiled. You could not sit down without her wanting to be right on top of you. I miss her so much already.
