Brittany Mielke became an assistant coach for Heartland’s women’s soccer in Spring 2015. A Geneseo native, Mielke played for the Hawks when they were named Region 24 Champions in 2012. After graduating from HCC, Mielke

played at the NAIA level at Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Brittany is extremely proud to return to Heartland and share her experience, skills and love of the game with members of the women’s soccer team.

Patric MolinariHead Women’s Soccer Coach

Head soccer coach Patric Alves Molinari is in his third season as the head women’s soccer coach at Heartland Community College.

In Molinari’s second season at the helm, the Hawks finished with an 8-7-2 record, 2-3-0 in Region 24 play,

and were 3-3-0 at home. Molinari coached Karley Draheim and Bruna Prates - the first Hawks to win Mid-West Athletic Conference Player of the Year awards. Draheim was honored both as the M-WAC Co-Player and Co-Freshman of the Year, while Bruna Prates was named the M-WAC Co-Goalkeeper of the Year. Draheim was elected to the All-Region 24 first team.

Molinari began his coaching career in San Diego and led teams in Houston before moving to Bloomington to lead the Twin City Tigers U13 and U 14 teams. He has served as head coach for boys’ varsity at Central Catholic High School and also held that same role for girls’ varsity since 2007.

A graduate of Associated Faculty of Sao Paulo in Brazil, Molinari he earned a bachelor’s degree in administration, with an emphasis on systems analysis. Additionally, he holds a United States Soccer Federation National coaching “C” license.
