Parshat Noach

(5th Grade Edition)

Page 3: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

In the days of Noach the world was filled with robbery and corruption.

Page 4: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

Not only were the people bad…

The animals were bad too!

Page 5: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

Hashem told Noach that He was going to destroy the world, and that Noach should build an ark.

Page 6: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

The ark should be:

300 Amot Long

50 Amot Wide

30 Amot High

Page 7: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

And it should have a window on top!

Page 8: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

And Noach was told to bring two of every non-kosher animal.

Page 9: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

And seven of the kosher ones.

Page 10: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

Hashem told Noach that in seven days He

was going to cause an intense rainfall for forty days and forty nights. This will cause a flood

that will wipe out everything on the planet.

Page 11: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

The waters strengthened on the earth for 150 days.

Page 12: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

Only eight people survived the whole ordeal.

When Hashem decided, the water began to subside, and eventually mountaintops were visible.

Page 14: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

Noach did some experiments to see if it was dry, and therefore safe

to leave the ark.He sent out a dove from the top window, but it couldn’t find a dry place to land.

Page 15: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

Noach waited and sent another dove.

This time it came back with an olive branch, so Noach knew

the land was dry. He waited some more, sent another dove,

and this time it didn’t return.

Page 16: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

Hashem told Noachto leave the ark, and to bring everything else with him.

Page 17: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

Noach brought an offering to Hashem.

And Hashem promised to

never destroy the world again

with a flood.

Page 18: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

And Hashem made a symbol of the promise

He made to Noach:The rainbow.

Page 19: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

After some time Noach planted a vineyard. He produced

wine, and one day drank way

too much.

Page 20: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

And bad went to worse…He ended up

unclothed, and his son, Cham, saw his father acting shamefully and reported it back

to his brothers.

His brothers went and respectfully clothed

their father.

Page 21: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

And Noach blessed the sons who behaved appropriately, and cursed the other one.

And Noach died at the age of 950.

THE TOWEROF BAVEL

Page 23: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

Not long after, the entire world was filled with people, with one

purpose, and one language.

However…

Page 24: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

They decided they wanted to build a

tower that extended all the way into the

heavens, so they could take over.

Page 25: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

So Hashem decided to confuse their languages.

Page 26: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

And Hashem spread them all over the world.

Page 27: Parshat Noach PowerPoint

And ten generations later, a

very special man named Avram

walked the earth.

Avram would be forever

known as the first Jew.
