We all know our nation’s parks face significant

long-term funding cuts, which could mean trouble for many iconic places - as well as the rangers, visitors, and wildlife that enjoy them. The

responsibility to maintain our parks is up to us.

The Parks Project™ is here to promote, protect and

preserve our parks. We are a group of outfitters

that collaborates with park groups to do our part

in supporting our favorite places.

We share profits with the parks that each t-shirt represents and volunteering is at the core of our

call to action. By pitching in, we call all work

to leave our parks better than we found them for

the generations to come.

01. SANTA MONICA MOUNTAINS SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA

You can experience famous beaches of Malibu or explore any of

the 500 miles of trails here. The park abounds with historical &

cultural sites from old movie ranches to Native American culture

centers offering something for everyone.

President Theodore Roosevelt honored John Muir, the ”Father

of the National Park System,” and created the country’s tenth

National Monument, Muir Woods. This park is not just a place to

gaze in awe at giant redwoods, it’s also a home to hundreds of

unique coastal species like spotted owls and horsetail ferns.

The reptiles of the Joshua Tree include 18 lizards and 25 snakes,

4 of which are rattlesnakes. The California Desert Tortoise is

also present, and is a threatened species. Watch your step while

looking at the spiky trees straight out of a Dr. Seuss book.

Black bears are no more dangerous than grizzly bears and in fact,

the threat from of any bear is substantially reduced with proper

human behavior. Both species can reach bursts of 35 mph or more

so never try to out run a bear.

Olympic park has over 60 glaciers, 13 rivers, 73 miles of

coastline, and more than 600 miles of trails making it the

greatest remaining true wilderness forest in America. And, the

tallest Douglas fir in the park measures 298 ft, how about that!?

The Grand Teton National Park is home to black bears, wolves,

elk, moose, bison, pine martens, red squirrels, coyotes, badgers,

grizzly bears and mountain lions. Don’t leave that peanut butter
