Thank you for participating in our 2013 West Sacramento Veterans Day
Parade. The parade will be held on Monday, November 11, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. 12 :00 p .m.
Line-Up Number and Check In Time listed below. Please arrive at your correct check-up time to insure a smooth line-
up. Ifyou arrive late you may be instructed to go to the end of the parade. Your cooperation is appreciated.
PARADE LINE UP FOR FLOATS and VEHICHLES ONLY
All vehicles and floats in the parade must enter the line up on Riverbank Road in the park ing lot in the REAR of
Riverbank Elementary. There is No parking allowed on Riverbank Road.
Please see directions below. The parking lot in the REAR of Riverbank Elementary is limited to parade participants
only.
PARADE PARKING INFORMATION: Parking is very limited and NO SHUTTLE is provided to or from line up.
Designated Parking is available a t the fron t o f t he elementary school parking lot on a first come first serve basis.However, NO SHUTTLE is provided to bring you back to line up and when the lot is full it will be closed. We encourageyou to carpool or utilize the designated drop off and pick up locations rather than parking. Note: If you choose to park at thebeginning of parade you will need your own plan on how to get back to your vehicle after the parade.
PARADE PARTICIPANT DROP OFF & PICK UP (Recommended): Parade Participant Drop off is at the REAR ofRiverbank Elementary School located at 1100 Carrie Street, West Sacramento Please see directions below.This is a drop off only no parking is available . Important Note: Drop off will not open until 9:30 AM. Make sure
you arrange for an adult to walk young children to their unit and that you allow enough time to arrive at your units
designated time. You will NOT be able to drive down to your unit number to drop off participants walking/riding in the
parade.(see map attached)
To Parade Participant Drop Off: Parade drop off is in the REAR of Riverbank Elementary on Riverbank Road.
To Parade Participant Pick Up: Parade pickup is in the REAR of Riverbank Elementary on Riverbank Road.
To Parade Line-Up for Floats: Parade line-up is in the REAR of Riverbank Elementary on Riverbank Road .
REMINDER: As stated in the BBCAN Veterans Days Parade Application: No items (including water or candy) may be
thrown to parade spectators; all items must be handed to the parade spectators. Compliance is very important for the
safety of the children and the other parade units. Any unit not complying will not be allowed in future parades.
