Integrating Palliative Care into Our Community

Friday, November 22, 2013

We are pleased to offer the 8th Annual Palliative Care Professional Conference, “Integrating Palliative Care into Our Community.”

This seminar provides a valuable opportunity to learn about the up-to-date, evidence-based information in palliative care. Designed as an interactive and interdisciplinary educational forum, our conference goal is for participants to expand their knowledge and skills in the management of patients with chronic, serious or life-limiting conditions across all settings.

We are delighted to combine four nationally recognized speakers, along with our own regional experts, in offering innovative approaches to palliative care. Learn about healthcare transitions in late stage disease management, care management strategies, cancer pain and symptom therapies, facilitation of POLST (Pennsylvania Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment) conversations, pain management for the delirious and non-verbal patient and the impact of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender relationships on healthcare decision-making.

We are happy to invite you to this educational and networking opportunity. Join us and experience renewed vigor and enthusiasm, both personally and professionally.
