Each member depot line hauls their consolidated inbound freight to the Pall-Ex Hub daily, to arrive by a pre-designated time.
At the Pall-Ex Hub, all the freight is sorted.
Outbound freight is re-loaded for outbound line haul back to the member depot. They must then leave by a pre-designated time.
The member depot’s vehicle returns from the Hub. The delivery freight is o�oaded and then delivered to the customer as required.

looking to do business via the corporate centre. Here we provide dedicated account management, bespoke order ful�lment and reliable distribution services, both in the UK and internationally.
Pall-Ex has achieved a network wide ISO9001:2008 certi�cation. Every member within the Pall-Ex network operates under a joint mark of quality, therefore all collections and deliveries on behalf of the network are audited to provide the highest possible levels of service quality to our customers.

Solitaire
With our customer facing IT system Solitaire, you can book jobs directly with your local Pall-Ex member. You can produce network compliant documentation to ensure your consignments are always visible, whether your local Pall-Ex member delivers the consignment directly or routes it through the Pall-Ex network.
If you require your carrier to capture PODs using your own company delivery documentation rather than a Pall-Ex produced delivery note, we can comfortably accommodate this. It will enable you to retrieve signed POD images (of your paperwork) through the web or for downloading onto your own back o�ce systems, using our unique web service interfaces.
As Solitaire is a web-based system, we can have you up and running within an hour! Solitaire is extremely easy to use, but should you require help, online training material is provided as part of the solution.

Delivering Results
All Pall-Ex drivers use mobile devices to capture delivery information, helping to improve visibility and reduce telephone calls. The information, along with full network track and trace scanning, is captured and transmitted in real time directly to Pall-Ex’s TWINE IT system.
Using one of our various integrated Pall-Ex tracking solutions, this information can then be viewed by clients internally on their system or even published via a client’s website to their end customer. Either way this reduces enquiries, boosts e�ciency and can even improve cash �ow.

At the heart of the Pall-Ex Group is our unique non-drive through transhipment hub, the only one in the palletised haulage sector.
Our purpose-built hub enabled us to design an e�cient loading system with no trucks entering the building.
Our forklift trucks are powered by environmentally friendly compressed natural gas, reducing polluting emissions to an absolute minimum. Environmentally sensitive goods, such as foodstu�s, bene�t greatly from the cleaner environment.
By driving a broader focus to all elements of our business, including the environment, Pall-Ex works to the ISO14001:2004 standard for environmental management, demonstrating environmental awareness and responsibility.

Pall-Ex ECO DRIVE is a recycling take-back service that will allow us to remove thousands of tonnes of recyclable material from our customers’ waste streams.
