E-DCH Service Cell Change Success Rate with SHO Counters (CELL)

Number of Success to Change EDCH Serving Cells due to Soft

Handover or Multiple Links (Cell)

VS.HSUPA.SHO.ServCellChg.Succ

Number of Attempts to Change EDCH Serving Cells due to Soft

Handover or Multiple Links (Cell)

VS.HSUPA.SHO.ServCellChg.Att

VS.HSUPA.SHO.ServCellChg.Succ

This measurement item takes statistics of the number of successful attempts to change the EDCH serving cells because the soft handover is performed or multiple links exist.

This measurement is triggered at point B as shown in the left figure, when the RNC receives a PHYSICAL CHANNEL RECFG COMPLETE message from the UE. If the HSUPA serving cell changes, the RNC measures this item in the original HSUPA serving cell. The item is used to indicate the change of HSUPA serving cells in the soft handover state instead of the hard handover state.

This measurement triggered at point B as shown in the right figure , when the RNC receives an ACTIVE SET UPDATE COMPLETE message from the UE. If the HSUPA serving cell changes during the soft handover, the RNC measures this item in the original HSUPA serving cell.

VS.HSUPA.SHO.ServCellChg.Att

This measurement item takes statistics of the number of attempts to change the EDCH serving cells because the soft handover is performed or multiple links exist.

This measurement is triggered at point A as shown in the left figure, when the RNC sends a PHYSICAL CHANNEL RECONFIGURATION message to the UE. If the HSUPA serving cell changes, the RNC measures this item in the original HSUPA serving cell. This item is used to indicate the change of HSUPA serving cells in the soft handover state instead of the hard handover state.

This measurement triggered at point B as shown in the right figure , when the RNC sends an ACTIVE SET UPDATE message to the UE. If the HSUPA serving cell changes during the soft handover, the RNC measures this item in the original HSUPA serving cell.
