Lebanc Solo Carry Ranged, Harass, Assassin, Damage
Damage: Extremely HighRoaming Potential: Extremely HighSpeciality: Snowballing/Carrying in the mid gameExplanation: In the current patch LeBlanc is an EXTREMELY powerful midlaner. She is one of the only assassins left in the game who can still 1000her enemy without being insanely fed. If your looking to climb elo from amiddle lane standpoint I would highly recommend LeBlanc.

LeBlanc, however still has weaknesses that you willhave to learn to work around. She falls of late game dueto the defensive items the enemy carries will begin tostart buying such as Guardian Angel and Banshee's Veil. Her teamfight potential is pretty weakbecause of her lack of sustainable and reliable AOEdamage. She is heavily countered by crowd control andalso requires good mechanics to play properly. Theseweaknesses are still not enough to hold her back fromcarrying her team.
There are not many options when it comes to summoner spells for LeBlanc.

WWWWWWWWWWWWFlash is a necessity on every midlaner, including LeBlanc. It allowsher to have an extra aggressiveand defensive resource which shecan use at will. It helps with playmaking, survivability, teamfighting,roaming, kiting and so much more!

WWWWWWWWWWWWIgnite is what I recommend asyour second summoner spell inmost if not all games. The addedDPS is extremely helpfulthroughout the entire game. It isoften the deciding factor in whichengages are successful.
Barrier

WWWWWWWWWWWWBarrier is an optional summonerspell that should only be usedwhen you are extremely doubtfulof your ability. It can also be viableagainst some of LeBlanc's greatestcounters that I have mentionedabove.

This item provides LeBlanc with 3 of her most important stats, Mana regeneration, Cooldown reduction,and Ability power. This item is very affordable and gives a LeBlanc a strong middle game. It is also veryeasy to build!
The magic penetration from these boots greatly increases Leblanc split push potential, and lowers thecooldown on her q. Mobility boots are also a valid choice if your teammates are doing poorly and youneed to roam.
A core item on Leblanc. The huge AP with multiplier will help Leblanc do TONS of damage. Once you
have this and other AP items you will be doing huge damage to everyone who comes near you. In myopinion this is LeBlancs biggest power spike item in the game.
With Zhonya's Hourglass you can play much more aggressive, knowing that you have something to fallback on if you get caught out. This item is extremely useful during teamfights to ensure your safetywhile your abilities are on cooldown. It can also be helpful in dodging that long range execute.
This is Leblanc's DFG replacement item. (R.I.P DFG 2014) The passive damage adds quite a bit to yourburst and is up very often due to your high mobility. The extra movespeed is just icing on the cake.
With void staff you should have no problem assassinating solo targets. The magic penetration is a musthave on any assassin to shred though magic resist.

Rabadon's Deathcap

WWWWWWWWWWWWBuild Rabadon's Deathcap first ifyou have taken a lead in lane andbelieve that you can continue topush your advantage. This itemdoes not offer any defensive stats,so only build it first of you areconfident in your ability to outplayour opponent. Otherwise, dontbuild this item first because thebonus AP is more useful late game.
Zhonya's Hourglass

WWWWWWWWWWWWBuild Zhonya's Hourglass first ifyou fall behind in lane due to beingganked by the enemy jungler orare being outplayed by an AD mid,especially Zed/Talon. Zhonya'sprovides a lot of survivabilitythroughout mid and late game. Italso allows you time to wait foryour cooldowns to come back up soyou can go for the kill on anothertarget.
Luden's Echo

WWWWWWWWWWWW Luden's Echo is what I
recommend you build first onLeBlanc. It provides her with a lotof AP and the passive also givesyou more burst. The extramovespeed from the item is alsovery useful and ads just a bit moremobility to her already mobile kit.Once you build this item youshould have no problem roaming tohelp other lanes.
Masteries are extremely important in enhancing LeBlanc's Pros
By putting 12 points into the Ferocity tree, and 18 points into the Cunning Tree we utilize many useful stats, andwe acquire the Thunderlord's Decree mastery which is extremely good on LeBlanc. The keystone masteriesin Ferocity are not that good on LeBlanc, which is also a reason why we focus more into Cunning.
Ferocity Tree
Tier 1 5 points in Sorcery is very standard on anyAP champion, as it is much more effective than attackspeed.
Tier 2 Taking the point into Feast is not ideal,however I think the lane sustain is much better thantaking Double Edged Sword which is not effective on
space
any ranged champions. Doing an extra 2% damage isnot worth taking an extra 2% in return.
Tier 3 5 points into Natural Talent will help you csthroughout the game, as well as doing slightly moredamage with your abilities. LeBlanc makes little useof vamprirism because llife steal is pretty much uselesson her.
Tier 4 I prefer to take the point into BountyHunter because chances are, one laning phase is overyou will have killed at least one of the enemy, and willhave often gotten a succesful roam off also, meaningthat the effectiveness of Bounty Hunter will veryquickly outweigh the effectiveness of Oppressor .
Cunning Tree
Tier 1 Due to LeBlanc's lame auto attacks, pointsinto Savagery will be very beneficial when farmingminions. Remember, more farm means more gold,more gold means more items, more items means moredamage, more damage means more kills, more killsmeans more wins. In short, more farm means morewins.
Tier 2 I prefer to take points into Assassin due tothe fact that it will be giving you more damagethroughout the entire laning phase (except when yourjungler is there of course). This is more risky, and it isalso viable to take the point into Secret Stash formore lane sustain.
Tier 3 Taking points into Merciless is riskier than Meditation however, once you get your mana item Meditation is not very effective. Merciless is great forfinishing people off after you have poked them down.
Tier 4 Dangerous Game is pretty much the obviouschoice here. Bandit is only used on supports and fullAP LeBlanc mid is definitely not a support!
Tier 5 The added tankiness from Precision is veryuseful so that you don't become EXTREMELY squishy. Intelligence is also viable, but I prefer Precision
because most of the time, it will provide you with betterdueling.
Tier 6 Thunderlord's Decree is literally the mainreason why we go 1218 for our masteries. It isincredibly useful throughout the entire game, especiallyin the early game for added poke and burst. It is veryeasy to proc this mastery, which is also one of thereasons it is so great on LeBlanc.

LeBlanc may encounter a variety of champions in the mid lane
Difficulty: MediumCounters Zhonya's Hourglass Abyssal ScepterPlay aggressive early game in attempt to push him out of lane. Abuse your Distortion auto attackcombo at level one for free poke because he will not be able to out trade you at any stages of thelaning phase. His Playful / Trickster takes up a majority of his damage but you can easily dodge it
with your Distortion. He can, however, one shot you if he lands his Chum the Waters.
Difficulty: MediumCounters Zhonya's HourglassThis is a complete skill matchup and the best player should always win if there is minimal junglepressure. If you dodge his Razor Shuriken after he has used his Death Mark then you should winin an all in situation. Always keep track of enemy summoner spells because they can often determine
the winner in such a close champion matchup.
Difficulty: MediumCounters Luden's Echo Abyssal ScepterThis is also a skilled matchup and the winner is usually determined between whether or not ahri landsher Charm. If she does land her Charm it will be very difficult for you to outplay her to the pointthat you will kill her. But, thankfully you have your Distortion to dodge her aggravating kiss. It can
be very difficult to land your Ethereal Chains due to her high mobility ultimate: Spirit Rush
Difficulty: EasyCounters Vision WardYou can EASILY win this lane by playing aggressive throughout the laning phase. You out range, outburst, and out trade her during the early and mid stages of the game. She can begin to out roam youbut you can easily follow her, or just push the wave with Distortion Mimic
Difficulty: MediumCounters Zhonya's Hourglass or Abyssal ScepterAnnie can be a very difficult to play against due to her low counterplay one shot. You can apply muchmore presence around the map than annie because of her having no innate escape or mobility. If youpredict annie's Summon: Tibbers then you should have no problem against her, but this is very
difficult to pull off.
Difficulty: HardCounters: abyysal scepter Void StaffCho'Gath is one of the hardest champions to lane against as LeBlanc. He has so many things thatcounter you such as his Feral Scream for the silence and his genuine tankiness that makes himvery hard to kill. The only way for you to get ahead is with extremely good farming or strategic
roaming.
Difficulty: EasyCounters: Abyssal ScepterCassiopeia is an extremely easy matchup due to her lack of mobility and difficulty dealing with yourabundance of mobility. Play aggressive against Cassiopeia in the early game because if she plays wellshe will have a much bigger late game influence due to her scaling, and AOE stun/slow with her
Aspect of the Serpent and Petrifying Gaze.
Using LeBlanc's abilities in synchronicity increases her potential
Passive: Mirror ImageWhenever LeBlanc is below 40% health, she creates a controllable clone of herself that lasts for 8seconds.This ability offers LeBlanc with even more juking potential, especially in low level games. If you simplystand still after your passive pops, you can often trick people into running after your clone!
Q: Sigil Of Malice
LeBlanc fires an orb at her target, dealing magic damage and marking them. The mark can be poppedby any of her other abilities to do bonus damage.This ability doesn't do much damage by itself, but when used in combination with LeBlanc's otherabilities (popping the mark) you can do HUGE burst damage. This ability contributes to LeBlanc's widevariety of possible combos to assassinate your target.
W: DistortionLeBlanc dashes towards the cursor dealing damage and leaving a return pad from where it was casted.She can then return to the pad for 4 seconds after casting it.This ability is what truly defines her. It gives her SO much mobility for roaming etc. It also helps hertrading in lane due her ability to use this to get in range, throw your q and e, then get out for free.
This is what makes LeBlanc so hard to chase. 4 seconds is a long time in league, and by using this ability twice youcan easily juke the enemy.
E: Ethereal ChainsLeblanc throws a chain at her enemy, which tethers them. If they do not leave the area within 1.5seconds they are rooted. Ethereal chains is icing on the cake for LeBlanc. This provides her with some much needed CC whichcan help her kite if needed. This ability is great for roaming, allowing you to root your enemy while
your team follows up.
R: MimicLeBlanc casts a mimic version of the ability she previously casted.LeBlanc's ultimate, Mimic is on an extremely short cooldown considering how good it is. There are somany different uses for this ability. Mimic q is the most damaging ultimate because if you have 2 q'syou actually have 4 because of the mark it leaves. Mimic w is the most mobility LeBlanc can get and is
also great for team fight if you want to get aoe damage on the carries. Mimic e is great for permanently rootingyour enemy if you are not quite as strong so you cant one shot your enemy, this allows your team time to followup and kill the rooted enemy.
There are many combinations LeBlanc can use to suit a variety of situations.
Highest Burst Combo
This combination will be LeBlanc's most damaging combo possible. Use this against melee opponents who willalready be in your range. By using your Sigil of Malice twice you are popping an additional two Sigil of Malice'sdue to the mark on your initial Sigil of Malice, this is why it does the most damage.
Lock Down
This is LeBlanc's 'Lockdown' combo, allowing her to cc her enemies for up to 3 seconds. This SHOULD be enoughtime for her team to follow up and finish off the kill if LeBlanc hasn't already. By making use of two EtherealChains' you will be able to snare the enemy for quite a long time.
Easy Assassination
Use this when you are pretty fed and do not need your distortion as extra damage. By using distortion to get inrange of your enemy and then using your other abilities in quick succession you can burst down your enemy. Alsouse this combo for some free harass in lane if you spot the enemy jungler somewhere other than your lane.
No Skill Necessary
This combo is for less advanced LeBlanc players who are less comfortable using their abilities. For this to work youmust, however, use your first distortion for damage on you enemy and then use the second distortion for moredamage, meaning you must get within range.
The Triple Q Combo
In this combo we use three Sigil of Malice's to do maximum damage output over a longer duration of time. Thegoal is to wait for a little bit more between the first three abilities so that you will be able to q a third time beforeyour chain runs out. This way, the second proc of your chain will do bonus damage because of your Sigil ofMalice.
LeBlanc's playstyle can vary throughout the game
Early Game
As LeBlanc, early game is not your strongest point, however you can make use of playing aggressive to exploit youopponents early game weaknesses. Make use of your Distortion plus auto attack combo at level one for freeharass. You should be able to easily escape ganks before and after level six with Distortion Mimic. Try to keepat least one side of the lane warded at all times with either your trinket or a vision ward. Look for chances to pushyour lane and roam as soon as you hit level 6, your ganks are very potent.
Mid Game
This is when you are at your strongest point on LeBlanc. You should be able to one shot the enemy back line withyour full combo. During the mid game is when you should be buying wards and looking for picks. Roam to help yourteam and take advantage of your HUGE mid game powerspike.
Late Game
LeBlanc does tend to fall off in the late game due to her weak team fight presence and the abundance of defensiveitems that counter her ex. Guardian Angel, Banshee's Veil. During the late game continue to look for pickswhile using your mobility to navigate the jungle. Late game team fights are pretty difficult as LeBlanc. Focus onpositioning at the back of fights to avoid being stunned, snared, silenced etc because if you do you will easily bekilled by the enemy team. You can try to use your Distortion Mimic combo to get of tons of AOE damage inteamfights but make sure then enemy crowd control is on cooldown if you would like to try.
