why hack?Hackathons are a great way to generate ideas, test new

technologies, learn new skills, get creative, collaborate and

have fun! All while solving real problems by creating working,

usable software.

Giving our team the time to do all of the above is one of the

ways we invest in innovation. The results of a hackathon help

us do our work better, and help our partners and clients to

address new opportunities and solve real world problems.

why retail? The Retail sector is ripe with opportunities to improve customer

engagement, increase shopping convenience, and come up with

new ways to meet customer needs and add value.

Customer expectations are changing due to the ever-increasing

convenience of performing simple tasks anywhere and anytime on

mobile devices. We believe that the retailers who take advantage

of mobile tech will lead the way for the Future of Retail.

technologiesThe creative application of new mobile technologies are making the

Retail sector an incredibly exciting place to be.

Social media, robotics, image recognition, near field communication,

artificial intelligence, beacons and geofencing technologies mean

that the smartphone will become essential to the retail experience.

Those retailers who can best harness this technology will outlast

their competition and win the favour of their customers.
