Fifty-one students from the GlenOak Art Depart- ment were recognized as winners of the annual Scho- lastic Art Show competition. Their works will be on display at the Scholastic Art Exhibi- tion from January 22 – 30 in the Campus Center, Fine Arts Building and the Main Hall Art Gallery, located at Kent State Stark, 6000 Frank Avenue NW in Jackson Township. The buildings will be open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. and on Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm. The awards ceremony held on Saturday, January 26th at 10am. Gold Key winners will move on to the national level of the Scholastic Art Awards’ judg- ing process in New York City. The 59th Scholastic Art Exhibition features more than 2,000 entries of art and photography from middle and high school students, representing nearly 60 schools in Stark, Summit, Portage, Wayne, Tuscarawas and Medina counties.
