- Pastor Lee: Going well. Started a Leadership training with some other Pastors around Northeast Nebraska. Really enjoying the sermon series.

- Pastor Ryan: Leadership training. Happy with all the members signing up to serve. Pastor’s wifes retreat this weekend. Saturday night service going well.

Discussed Saturday evening service, how it’s going. Times at new building might shift a little bit, yet to be decided.

Wall framing starting this week and then electrical, drywalled in about a month from now.Member Care

A lot of new families coming. Some new groups starting.Member care, watching the backdoor, working on calls and visit.Steven’s Ministry, 13 people going through the training right now. All are excited to get going.

New BusinessVisitor follow-up, 7 minutes is when someone decides they will stay or not. So how important the First

Impressions Team is. How many visitors and absent members, how do we get them connected and want to be there. Discussion on connecting, how to connect, how to identify.

Campus security, Norfolk PD doesn’t have any active killer training. Jim Stover does some active killer training for Nebraska State Patrol, and willing to maybe do some training. In a couple months after Easter the new building would be fairly laid out, to do some training there. End of April first of May.

CCF coming up, are we doing a Service. Casting Crowns on August 4th.Second Sunday of September the grand opening or special kids. The 3rd Sunday of September XOS will

start. President Snow will be around for some of it.Easter will be at Divots’.Maybe VBS with Christ Lutheran this year.

Pointing People to Christ

Summer Youth Ministry Intern Ministry Description

PURPOSE: The Summer Youth Ministry Intern will provide leadership in designated Junior High and High School Youth Ministry programming. The Summer Youth Ministry Intern teams with the Director of Family Life and volunteer leadership assisting the youth and families of Our Savior Lutheran Church to achieve its Mission of pointing people to Christ.

QUALIFICATIONS: The Summer Youth Ministry Intern shall: - Be committed to the Lord and His Church by word and example. - Be a motivated, passionate, Gospel driven individual that is committed to excellence. - Be comfortable to work with youth and adults.- Be organized and detail oriented when planning for ministry events, but willing to be flexible in the face of

potential, unexpected change. - Exhibit a positive, enthusiastic, and encouraging attitude. - Be at least a senior in high school by the end of May 2018. - Interested in exploring, learning, and planning youth ministry opportunities.

MINISTRY RESPONSIBILITIES: GENERAL DUTIES

- Assists in youth ministry by implementing the mission of Our Savior’s youth ministry to Point People to Christ.

- Assist in planning Wild Wednesday by working with youth and adults as well as regular worship is assumed.

- Develop intentional relationship with junior high and high school youth and families. SPECIFIC DUTIES: Wild Wednesdays - Jr. High and Sr. High Events

- Assist planning Wild Wednesday activities. - Coordinate adult chaperones, drivers, and supervisors. - Develop a devotion and theme of the night for each event. - Oversee and organize each event. Keeping things on track with time. - Other duties as mutually agreed upon.

Sr High Youth Group - Assist adult youth mentors in Sr High Youth Group Events TBD- Encourage and promote youth group events and bible study

TERM OF SERVICE: - Starting Date: end of May 2018- Completion Date: August 2018

Worship/Music Ministry Intern - Ministry DescriptionPURPOSE: The Worship/Music Ministry Intern will provide leadership in corporate worship as well as working with and inspiring other musicians/worship team members. The Intern teams with the Director of Worship Arts and volunteer leadership assisting Our Savior Lutheran Church to achieve its Mission of pointing people to Christ. QUALIFICATIONS: The Worship/Music Ministry Intern shall: - Be committed to the Lord and His Church by word and example. - Be a motivated, passionate, Gospel driven individual that is committed to excellence. - Be comfortable to work with youth and adults.- Be organized and detail oriented when planning for services, but willing to be flexible in the face of potential,

unexpected change. - Exhibit a positive, enthusiastic, and encouraging attitude. - Be at least a Junior in high school by the end of May 2018- Interested in learning more about Worship Arts and leading music in corporate worship. MINISTRY RESPONSIBILITIES: GENERAL DUTIES

- Lead/Assist worship and rehearsal with and instrument and voice.- Assist in planning weekend worship services, by selecting music and preparing worship team.- Assist in recruitment and training of new worship team members- Oversee organizational work on PCO

SPECIFIC DUTIES: - Preparing slides, videos, set-up, etc. needed for worship- Coordinate Worship team members. - Oversee and help train worship team volunteers- Other duties as mutually agreed upon.

Sr High Bonfires (Sunday Nights) - Provide Instrumental and Vocal Leadership- Prepare lyrics or other necessary items- Coordinate with Devotion leader for possible theme

TERM OF SERVICE: - Starting Date: end of May 2018- Completion Date: August 2018
