• Our country consists of seven regions.These are Mediterranean, Black Sea, Aegean, East Anatolia, Southeastern Anatolia, Central Anatolia and Marmara Region. And all these region’s people have different sense of humour.

• Turkish people are very fond of making jokes to friends and enjoy funny conversations. Turkish people are pretty much quick-minded and like to perform spontaneous jokes on the spot.

We, as Turkish people like having pleasure from every situation. We are self-indulgent.

In every bad circumstance Turkish people can find solutions to make themselves relived and can motivate themselves easily, shortly we are highly self-motivated people.

We are famous for our hospitality as a country. Turkish women who have flexible jobs or who are houswives set a special event once a month. In these events, women chat about their lives, gossip and talk about their new diets in company with delicious bakeries.

We are generous people but sometimes we can exaggrate.

We don’t need any reasons to laugh. Sometimes, we can laugh at a misspelled word.

Especially people who live in Black Sea Region have quick-wit.They solve problems very practically.Their solutions for every conditions make people laugh.

Temel and Dursun are fictional characters, originated in the Black Sea region of Turkey known for their humour, wit and craziness all the same time;

• Temel decided to immigrate to the United States... He took a plane and traveled the next day.. Arriving at the immigration office, the officer started to ask questions: -Name? -Temel. -Age? -26. -Sex? -Three times a week. -No, I mean, male or female? -Doesn't matter. 

Temel and Dursun love playing football. One day when they were disgussing about the afterlife, Temel asks Dursun:

“Do you think there is football in Heaven?”

and Dursun answers

“I don’t know but whoever goes there first, will let the other know OK?”.

So they agree and a few years down the line Dursun dies and enters Temel’s dream:

“Temel, I’ve got one good and one bad news for you”. Temel asks for the good one first and Dursun answers: “There is football in Heaven”“What about the bad one?”“Your name is on the team sheet this week!”
