If you’re travelling from Orlando, south west on Interstate 4 is the most common route. Leaving at exit 67, you’re only 5miles/12mins drive from Halcyon Palms.

Miami is the world’s largest cruise ship port, located 225miles/210mins.

The main airports nearby are Orlando International Airport (20miles/29mins) and Orlando Sanford (51miles/55mins).

Why not enjoy the majestic flora and fauna of the headwaters of the Everglades by heading onto Lake Tohopekaliga, where you can take an airboat ride to experience first-hand wildlife such as Blue Herons, Bald Eagles, Deer and the American Alligator. Tours are operated by several companies and are just 6miles/15mins away. Sticking with the water-theme, Buena Vista Watersports give you an

opportunity to hire jet skis, boats and paddle-based craft on Lake Bryan.
