Origami Inspired Architects in Bangalore

Origami, an ancient art of Japan, is a creative method of folding paper to develop beautiful shapes and forms. In the mid-90s it evolved into a modern art form and became a trend in contemporary architecture which many archi- tects took inspiration from.

The concept used by us for designing the building started from a playful folding shape of an origami shaped bird. What might seem like an intriguing form is the result of sustained design explorations and an intuition about what the place should express.

SITE ANALYSIS,

Site is locted on the out-skirts of Bangalore 12 Km from center of the cityKasturinagar is among the newer localities in Bengaluru. Spurred by explosive growth in the city, thousands of structures jostle for space in Kasturinagar alone. Homes, apartments, offices, and commercial spaces contribute to the Kasturinagar cityscape. The Junction’ holds its own in these surroundings.
