2012-2013 Orchestra Audition Information and Excerpts

Auditions will take place September 5-7, 2012. Sign up for an audition time by visiting N222 in the Arts and Communication building. For more information, contact Dr. Chmura-Moore, conductor of the Symphony Orchestra, at [email protected].

The first rehearsal is scheduled for Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 4:10 PM in Music Hall located in the Arts and Communication building.

Freshmen and transfer students: Perform a solo or etude of your choosing. You will also be asked to perform scales and sight-reading. Plan for auditions to span ten minutes.

All other students: Perform the orchestra excepts found below that are associated with your instrument. Sight-reading will also be asked. Plan for auditions to span ten minutes.
