Create 12c Physical Standby Database using 12c Grid Control

Select Primary Database (In my case TESTDB1)

Then select Availability --> Add Standby Database

You need to put sysdba credential for the below screen and select Login

Select Create a new physical standby database

You can select the datasource of your production datafile

Next screen is mainly for backup configuration credential and datafile location checkup

Next screen one need to pass the Instance name for the Standby database ( Ex: TESTDBS)

Select the listener name based on provided listener home

Below screen provide Standby Database information

Check the datafiles, tempfiles and controlfiles location for standby database
