Define the site

Select site from the top menu

Then select new site

Then give the site a name (no spaces, all lower case)

Select Next

Define the site2

Click next

Click the little folder and find your MyWebsite folder (which has your images and pages folder)

Select Next

Define your site 3Find your folder. It will be in your year 8, ICT folder.

Open the mywebsite folder.

Now click on select

Select ‘None’ from the list.

Click next then click done

Insert table

Click the insert table icon

Now choose how many rows and columns you need

And click OK

Insert images

Images need to be saved in your images folder before you insert them.

Select insert then image. Then find your image in the images folder and click open

You can also drag and drop the images from the bottom right of dreamweaver where your files should be.

Format text

Change the size of the text by selecting heading 1 to heading 6

Move text left / right or top / bottom of a page or cell of a table

Make text Bold or italic so it stands out

Insert Links

Select an image (by clicking on it) or highlight some text.

Then put the web address you want this image or text to link to. For example www.google.com

(this can be copy and pasted from the address at the top of a web page)

To link pages you have made together, click on the folder and select the page you want to link to from your HTML file.

Test the web page

First save your work by going to file then save all

Then click the world icon andPreview in IExplore

You can also use the shortcut f12 to preview the work. It must be saved first.
