Once you have edited a badge, hold down the control key (Ctrl) and then right click on the selection and select ‘Save as picture’. Alternatively, click on ‘Select’ and then ‘Select All’. Choose the portable network graphics option (.png) and save your badge image.
If you want a transparent background rather than white, you will need to use Photoshop. See a tutorial on how to do this here: http://www.photoshopbuzz.com/removing-background-photoshop/ You can use PowerPoint to create the badge and Photoshop for setting background transparency if you are a more confident PowerPoint user.
