• One Plus initially sold its smart phones only through an invite system where customers would be sent an invite to purchase smart phones and they had to make the purchase within a fixed time frame.
• Of late the company has held open sales of its smart phones too.

• One plus one was announced in April 2014, and released in June 2014.
