A n n o t a z i o n i. Le due comete appariscono nel nostro cannochiale, con ingrandimento di I 2 2 volte, molto somiglianti ; sembrano

stelle di undecima grandezza attorniate da rara nebulosita senza indizio di coda. Ida Fabry diversifica dall'altra per il suo nucleo stellare piu marcato e piu lucente. Nella sera del 1 5 le osservazioni della Barnard riuscirono faticose in causa del chiaro di luna, anzi per diminuire la luce soverchia, nel campo del micrometro a lamine, trovai piu opportuno di aumentare l'ingrandimento, usando il 166 in luogo del 1 2 2 .
