1937 – Lane Field, the original downtown baseball park at the foot of
Broadway.
1898 - Old Town looking west. The airport would soon be in that marsh.. Also
MCRD and the Midway area to the right…

You can see the underlying wood construction of the Cabrillo Bridge that
led to last year’s fire inside.
