Old Orchard Park Loop

Route Summary: The Old Orchard Park Bicycle Route utilizes a smooth asphalt surface that meanders through the beautiful Old Orchard Park in Diboll, Texas. This route is perfect for those young ones who are just learning how to ride a bike, as well as those who would just like to enjoy a relaxing ride. Riders can stay within the park if they would like to avoid motor vehicle traffic, or they can branch out to Arrington Road to make a 3.1 mile loop. There is plenty of beautiful scenery near the bike route that includes White Oak Creek, pine and hardwood forests, and golf course landscapes. Families are also encouraged to visit The History Center along Temple Drive/Highway 59. The bicycle route connects Old Orchard Park and The History Center and will provide a great opportunity to learn about the wonderful history of East Texas.

Start/Finish: This route begins at Old Orchard Park. There is parking throughout the park and at the Lottie & Arthur Temple Civic Center. If riders need to pick up supplies it is suggested that they use the Diboll Food Mart located on the corner of Burke Street and Temple Drive/Highway 59. Enjoy the Ride!
