• Ola cab was cofounded by Bhavish Aggarwal (CEO) & Ankit Bhati (CTO).

• They both were in IIT Bombay & before starting these they did many starups.

• Besides Bhavish had also worked in Microsoft company for two years.

• Ola in Spanish means hello, name was given to the company because they want to provide service as quick & reliable as speaking hello.

• They used to add around 10 cars a day but now 1000 cars a day.

• It provides entrepreneurship among drivers & operators through its business model making transportation economical & efficient for customers.

• Ola drivers can never refuse service to a customer.

• Once booking is made he cannot back out even if he needs a break.

• It doesn’t ask where a customer wants to get dropped, be it 100m or 100km,their goal is to ensure that customer’s journey from pt. A to B.

• Ola PRIME : A business-class car service for luxury travel available in few cities offering bigger cars like Toyota Innova.

• Ola SEDAN : Provide spacious car for comfortable transportation with cars like Toyota Etios.

• Ola MINI : Provide affordable personal transportation with cars like Tata Indica.

• Ola PINK : Car driven by lady driver for lady customers.

• It also plans to further invest in its technology platform to provide a better experience to customers as well as to expand its footprints to smaller cities & it now provides its service in 65 cities with about 18000 cars.
