_ Activities co-ordinated by OECD, Paris, tasks carried out by the Forum office at ZSI, Vienna, and the OECD LEED Trento Centre for Local Development

Others: Country fact-sheets, CFE Insight magazine, Forum handbooks and thematic brochures, Forum web pages (e.g. online documentary base)
_ Policy advice (Capacity building seminars, study visits)
Overview on the Network
_ Ongoing identification of partnerships in 45 countries (50 countries served by the address database).
_ The Forum covers approx. 2600 area-based partnerships.
_ The mailing list “members” serves more than 2100 individuals.

_ type of education: 42% drop out in higher secondary
vocational schools; 22% in higher education, 30% in
apprenticeships
_ the most industrialised region in Austria, with about 16% of the national population, Upper Austria provides 25% of total national exports. Two-thirds go to the Member States of the European Union.
_ active labour market policy has facilitated an unemployment rate of 3,7% in 2010, which means 7th rank amongst EU regions; the youth unemployment rate was 6,7% (also 7 th)
