Some 300m2 of Penta Timber PUR from the commercial sheet vinyl collection by Itec Contract Floors has been used to bring a dark, luxurious wood look finish to the Premier seating areas of the new build Odeon Cinema in Trowbridge.

Forming part of the £17 million development of St Stephens Place, the seven-screen

Odeon Cinema is the central attraction of the commercial complex that houses six restaurants and a hotel. With sleek and comfortable leather look seats and headrests, the Premier seating areas of the Odeon offer

cinemagoers the best views in-house as well as roomy seating with extra leg space. The architect that specified the deep smoky wood look Toronto 699 from Itec Contract Floor commented:

“We chose the Toronto flooring from the mix of designs in the Penta Timber collection on the basis of its lovely deep colour and wood

grain. The Itec flooring worked perfectly with the interior of the cinema and helped to create a prestigious look to the premier seating area of the auditoria. It also satisfied the durability and safety requirements of a

modern, busy cinema.” Along with style, the Penta Timber collection delivers R10 slip restraint and intensive durability to stand up to heavy domestic, commercial and light industrial usage. With a heavy duty HyperGuard+ PUR top wear layer, the attractive finish of this contemporary flooring is protected from everyday scuffs and spills. Importantly for ecological standards, the flooring is also graded A+ for Indoor Air Quality and is 100% recyclable at the end of its useful life.
