Looking back at the 2015 NACCIf it didn’t come across clearly at the NACC in Cincinnati, let me once again express my gratitude for the true honor of being president of the 2015 NACC, “We Speak”. Your prayers, notes of encouragement, participation, and financial gifts will truly be a spiritual treasure to me for the rest of my life. I’m grateful for you.

Since you are such an integral part of what God is doing in this yearly convention and in our great tradition of faith, I wanted to some of my reflections on this year’s convention. I can summarize it with the three prayers that I prayed countless times in the three years I served.

My first prayer was that this convention would be an encouragement to thousands of preachers and church leaders to continue speaking where God had placed them.

My second prayer was that we would engage a younger generation. This year, the PROPEL pre-con event engaged 100 “under 40” leaders, most

of whom had never attended the NACC before. Along with this, the Wednesday morning main session with sermons by the four finalists of the NextGenPreacherSearch was an amazing moment as we gave voice to an upcoming generation of preachers.

My final prayer was that the theme “We Speak” would be lived out in the convention week by allowing as many voices as possible to be heard – to emphasize the “we” of “We Speak”. I prayed that everyone would feel as though their ministry and their voice was significant to the kingdom. The variety of workshops, pre-session videos, and social media interaction gave thousands a chance to be heard.

God exceeded all that I had asked, imagined, and thought. Thank you for being a part of the 2015 NACC, and never stop speaking!

“I was troubled, but God lifted me up by attending [the NACC]. A lady from Indiana that I didn’t know prayed with me for family troubles, and I was truly blessed.”

“The NACC feeds, fills, convicts, and challenges me to go home with new vigor.”

“It was a great experience to meet in person the missionaries that I had prayed for and supported.”

“My special needs three-year-old had a fabulous time at the Children’s Convention. By Wednesday afternoon, he was walking right up and saying, “I’m back” with a big smile. I couldn’t be happier with the people providing for his care.”

“As a minister, I appreciate having a place to go where I am fed and encouraged in my walk with the Lord. Thank you!”

“Great reunions! Great preaching! Creative and humble servants engaged with us from the stage and created an intimacy you’d think was impossible in such a large space. Thanks!”

“Even after just six months of full-time ministry, the revitalization and encouragement I have felt this week from the great speakers was divinely timed.”

“The NACC is the highlight of our family’s summer. Three generations are here and none of us are in vocational ministry. We are hungry for the Word and for fellowship, and the NACC feeds us best!”

“The NACC is an incredible opportunity to be refreshed and encouraged by biblical preaching, renewed by connecting with friends in ministry and inspired by what God is doing in churches everywhere!”

“I appreciate the ongoing commitment to reach all ages, starting with the four young outstanding preachers, bookended by Roy Lawson.”

In Your Own Words.. .

For many it will be a new experience; for others it will be another great NACC–only closer to home. In preparation for the 2016 NACC, we’ve uncovered story after story of what God was and is doing in the Southern California area.

These are stories that need to be heard.

These are churches that need to be visited.

These are Christians who need to have a first class event where they can interact with other like-minded believers.

Our theme is . . . a Better Story. Jesus specializes in telling and making better stories in each of our lives and churches. I promise, if you come and bring your church family, you will experience the best in preaching, teaching, workshops, service opportunities and worship music. I’d like to encourage you to put July 12-15, 2016 on your calendar. This will be a life changing week that will refresh and strengthen you in your ministry.

On the exhibit Floor

The 2015 NACC had a wonderful turnout of exhibitors and attendees. It was a great time for ministries to inform others about what they are doing and to connect with contributors; for colleges to connect with alumni, friends, and future students; and for church leaders to learn about new programs and services. If you want to be a part of the action for 2016, visit www.gotonacc.org and sign up to exhibit. Prime space is going fast; the exhibit hall is already more than 65% sold out!

Children’s Convention

All adults registered for the NACC may register their children (birth - 12 years) for the Children’s Convention, which operates during the Main Sessions and afternoon workshops. Visit www.gotonacc.org for the complete schedule and more information!

Supporting Churchesand OrganizationsThank you to each and every church listed for their continued support of the NACC throughout fiscal year 2015 (September 1, 2014 through August 31, 2015). We are grateful for the sacrificial gifts that bless our entire family of churches! Approximately 25% of the NACC’s annual expenses are funded by church contributions. If your church was not a giving partner this past year, please prayerfully consider becoming one this year to support what God will be doing through the 2016 NACC. Your gifts are vitally important and appreciated!
