Travel Report Double Your Pleasure Ocean Club Resorts, TCI f you're seeking a charming, home- away-from-home style stay in Turks & Caicos, then look no further than the twin Ocean Club Resorts on Providenciales. Located a mile apart from each other on glorious Grace Bay Beach, these resorts create a community with a vibe akin to cottage country meets the Caribbean. You have a choice from studios with kitchenettes and balcony or one-to three-bedroom spacious suites with screened-in porches, fully- equipped kitchens, washers and dryers, full dining areas, multiple bathrooms, and well- appointed living areas. Ocean Club is where the water sports are offered, and complimentary shuttles are offered between the resorts. Each also has BBQs for guest use. Or if you'd rather not cook on holiday, there are three dining spots to choose from: Ocean Club West has Seaside Café, and Ocean Club has both the Cabana Bar & Grille (go for s'mores by their outdoor fire pit at night) and Opus, the more gourmet and upscale of the three, which also has a lovely enclosed garden terrace. Guests have signing privileges at all. ere are also tennis courts, two spas, and fitness centres, and they offer guests complimentary coaster bikes as well. Access to both property pools and the serpentine water circuit is also included. But chances are good that if you're coming from Canada in the winter, you're there for the beach and the sea, and both Ocean Club resorts are steps from the serene, warm surf flanked by soſt, white sand. It shouldn't take long under their signature pretty pink beach umbrellas to leave work and the frigid temps behind, but if you can manage to pry yourself out of your beach chair even for a few hours, there are other island activities well worth seeking out. If you're certified to scuba then Provo Turtle Divers can take you to some excellent sites, and there is also a wonderful horseback riding outfit called Provo Ponies that offers rides right in the surf. Also not to be missed is a sail and snorkel trip with Suncharters aboard the Atabeyra, which makes a pit stop at an enchanting uninhabited island.
