Installing ReproDesk Server 1.1 for the TDS400, TDS600, & TDS800 1. Select installation language, followed by "OK"

2. Select "Install" to start the installation procedure.

3. The install program will now determine your system configuration. Select "Ok".

4. Before selecting "Continue", make sure the minimum requirements below are met. If the minimum requirements are NOT met, "Exit" the installation procedure, patch system as required, & run the installation at a later date.

5. Select "Next"

6. Select "Yes" if you accept the license agreement.

7. Enter a "User & Company" name. Select "Next"

8. Select the radio button for the product you wish to install, followed by your installation CD Key (numeric key). Select "Next"

9. If you're installing additional products, place a "check-mark" next to the desired items followed by its installation CD key (numeric key). Select "Next". Note, if you’re upgrading 9800 ReproDesk V4.x to ReproDesk Server 1.6 and require the print option “9400 or Archive” you must enable the minority product “Group 4 Out”.

10. Select "Next" to install ReproDesk into the default folders (recommended). If you have AutoCAD fonts installed on the local system, "browse" to the appropriate location.

11. Choose the following options, select "Next"

12. Select "Next" to create a program group called "ReproDesk" (recommended).

13. System will now copy the required files to your system, please wait.

14. Select the option: "Yes, I want to restart my computer now". Select "Finish" to complete the installation.

9800 ReproDesk Installations After installing the ReproDesk software the following steps are required Note: DRI card should have already been installed in computer. 1.Open "Device Manger" Start/Settings/Control Panel/System/Hardware/Device Manager

2. Highlight "PCI Device: for DRI Drivers,right click & select properties

3. Select "Reinstall Driver"

4. Select "Next"

5. Select "Search for a suitable driver for my device (recommended), followed by "Next".

6. Select "Specify a location", followed by "Next"

7.Browse to the install folder of ReproDesk. Typically: C:\ocerd, then select "OK"

8. Select "Next"

9.Select "Finish"

10. Select "Close"

11. Reboot computer.

***If you’re installing ReproDesk Server for a TDS series machine, & have installed the "Scan" option, the following steps are required. 1. Configuring the Repro Desk Server PC for "Scan To File" requires Windows 2000 FTP services. 2. From with in Windows 2000 Select: START / SETTINGS / CONTROL PANEL / ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS

3 From the Add Remove Programs Window; select "Add/Remove Windows Components". The Windows 2000 CD may be required 4. Highlight "Internet information Services" (IIS) with out selecting its radio button, Select the "Details" button.

5. Select the option "File Transfer Protocol" (FTP), Select "OK". Additional selections with automatically be added after selecting FTP

7. Installing components

You may be required to install the Windows 2000 Installation CD.

8. Select "Finish" to complete the installation. Close the "Add Remove Programs" window.

9. FTP Setup. From "My Computer" or "Windows Explorer " create a folder called C:\Tempscan. This folder will be used when Scanning To File. 10. From Windows 2000 select: START / SETTINGS / CONTROL PANEL / ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS / INTERNET SERVICES MANAGER. See below

11. Double click the PC name in left windowpane.

12. Highlight the "Default FTP Site", right click & select Properties"

14. Select the tab "security accounts". Disable the option "only allow anonymous connections"

15. Select "Yes" to continue.

16. In the Default FTP Properties select the tab "Home Directory". Define the FTP Site Directory by typing or browsing to C:\TEMPSCAN (ReproDesk Requirement). Select: "Read", & "Write", deselect "Log Visits". See screen capture below. Note, selecting "a share located on another computer" will produce errors on the ReproDesk Server PC. Select "Apply", followed by "OK" to save all changes. Close the "Internet Information Services" window. Note, DO NOT delete the folder C:\inetpub\ftproot, as this folder is used to detect whether or not an FTP server was previously installed on the Repro Desk Server PC.

*** Deleting the anonymous user on FTP server. By default, a new user has been created on the windows 2000 system for anonymous. You may want to delete this user, as it is not needed by default (scan data transfer is done by using the user "administrator". The anonymous user can be removed in "User and Passwords.

Configuring the IP address on the TDS400,TDS600 & TDS800 PLC controllers 1. Configure the PLC controllers IP address to: 192.168.100.100, IP mask 255.255.255.0 Note: this address is required to run ReproDesk Server 1.x

Configuring the ReproDesk NIC card (card used to communicated with the PLC controller) 1. Configuring the NIC card connected to the PLC controller. Select: Start / Settings / Control Panel / Network and Dial-Up Connection Highlight the ReproDesk NIC card: Right Click, Select: Properties

2. Highlight "Internet Protocol", right click, select: Properties

3. Configure the system with the following settings: IP address: 192.168.100.101 Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0 Select "Ok"

NOTE, an Oce tech will be required on site if the customer’s internal network is already using the 192.168.100.X IP segment. In this case the PLCs IP address will be configured to: 10.1.1.1, & the ReproDesk Server PC to: 10.1.1.2 4. Close "Network and Dial-up Connections"

The 2nd NIC card connects to the customer’s internal network as required.

Configuring the TDS 400/600/800 (PLC controller) for ReproDesk Scan to File. Configuring RDS STF 1. Open "Oce Scan Manager"

2. Select the "New" button to create a ReproDesk Scan To File destination

3. Configure the "New" Scan Destination as follows Name: "RD Scan To File". Destination Type: FTP System: 192.168.100.101 (IP address of the ReproDesk Server PC) User name: a local user with administrator privileges on the RDS PC Password: as required for the user above Path: blank File naming can be modified by the user at a later date if required. Select "OK" to save changes

4. Delete any additional Scan To File destinations. ("On Controller" should be removed)

Starting ReproDesk for the first time 1. Start Repro Desk Server 1.x Start / Programs / ReproDesk / ReproDesk 2. Security Information. Starting Repro Desk for the first time requires the user to enter "Authorization Codes". At this point the user must complete & fax the "Authorization Request Form" to Oce USA's Software Fulfillment department to obtain authorization codes.

3. After entering the authorizations codes, Repro Desk Server must be closed & re-opened to enable Printing, Scan To File, along with any additional minority products.
