From our kitchen at Zuccotti Park, to our daily food outreach, to our weekend food table at Occupy Union Square, for over 2 years weve been nourishing the grassroots movement to free NYC from corporate control and create an alternative to this exploitive, inefficient system of capitalism and profits. We are committed to building a more equitable society and furthering the food justice movement by changing patterns of consumption in NYC and beyond. We believe that access to good healthy food is a universal human right. We strive to provide meals and snacks to people in the Union Square area and to the NYC activist community in general. Our network of supporters is a diverse group of activists, small businesses, community groups & individuals who share a common vision of a more livable, sustainable & secure NYC for all!
