This was possibly the most exciting, satisfying week+ of my life. I traveled to DC with 3 wonderful ladies who wanted to make a difference (One more flew and met us there). I met dedicated activists from all over the world who wanted to participate and improve this world by protesting at the seat of power of the most powerful country. I created two videos to help promote the event. Here’s a link to one. VIDEO I was honored to sit and plan with organizers I had looked up to for years. David Swanson, Medea Benjamin and Alli McCracken of Code Pink, Ann Wright, Dennis Trainor Jr, and more. We participated in two marches (“Banks Got Bailed Out, We Got Sold Out” and “Whose Streets, Our Streets” etc) shouting for all we were worth and I stayed over two days to participate in shutting down the Hart Senate Building. Drum circles, Ralph Nader, Chris Hedges and many more celebrities. What a trip! “Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will.” Fredrick Douglass Stephanie Lewis of Occupy Tulsa suggested we might consider doing a newsletter for Occupy. It just so happened that someone signed up to go to Washington DC on the trip I was arranging had pointed out software that would be perfect for the purpose. Of course there are other complications than software when you write about Occupy. One of the biggest is, what can you tell. I mean the government has to be assumed to be watching all the time so certain things need to be kept silent. Then there are always the internal power struggles. It wouldn’t do to give out more than I just wrtote about that. Still, communications are important in any organization, especially one as diverse and spread out as Occupy Oklahoma so I feel this will be a helpful effort. I hope you think so too. OCCUPY OKLAHOMA

NEWSLETTER

On October 6th, 5 citizens from NEOklahoma

traveled to Washington DC to participate in the

beginning of the struggle to attain a country where

all are equal under the law and our main exports

are not weapons and death.

Following is part of the recruitment page I created

on Facebook.

Stop the War Machine! Thursday, October 6, 2011 at 7:00am untilMonday, October 10, 2011 at 6:00am

Where: Freedom Plaza, Washington DC, 1331Pennsylvania Avenue NorthwestDescriptionA non-violent protest demanding a return todemocracy from corporate rule.Sign the pledge to be there at:http://october2011.org/Group leaves Tulsa on the evening of October4thMany of the most experienced activists in thecountry will be there as well as somecelebrities, Cornel West, Cynthia McKinney,Dave Rovics, David Swanson,Deborah Sweet,Dennis Trainor, Bill Moyer, Code Pink andmany more. This was possibly the most exciting, satisfying

week+ of my life. I traveled to DC with 3 wonderful

ladies who wanted to make a difference (One

more flew and met us there). I met dedicated

activists from all over the world who wanted to

participate and improve this world by protesting

at the seat of power of the most powerful

country. I created two videos to help promote

the event. Here’s a link to one. VIDEO I was

honored to sit and plan with organizers I had

looked up to for years. David Swanson, Medea

Benjamin and Alli McCracken of Code Pink, Ann

Wright, Dennis Trainor Jr, and more. We

participated in two marches (“Banks Got Bailed

Out, We Got Sold Out” and “Whose Streets, Our

Streets” etc) shouting for all we were worth and

I stayed over two days to participate in shutting

down the Hart Senate Building. Drum circles,

Ralph Nader, Chris Hedges and many more

celebrities. What a trip!

suggested we might consider doing a

newsletter for Occupy. It just so

happened that someone signed up to go

to Washington DC on the trip I was

arranging had pointed out software that

would be perfect for the purpose.

Of course there are other complications

than software when you write about

Occupy. One of the biggest is, what can

you tell. I mean the government has to

be assumed to be watching all the time

so certain things need to be kept silent.

Then there are always the internal

power struggles. It wouldn’t do to give

out more than I just wrtote about that.

Still, communications are important in

any organization, especially one as

diverse and spread out as Occupy

Oklahoma so I feel this will be a helpful

effort. I hope you think so too.

John 'Tan and Tone' and Company"Once again the House of Representatives lead

by John 'Tan and Tone America' Boehner has

proved what they are all about. They rejected the

Senate bill that would have given a payroll tax

extension for two more months to 160 million

Americans and also contained a provision to

extend the unemployment benefits for jobless

whose benefits are scheduled to run out at the end

of December.

So much for caring. Oh, but they do care! They

care for the Koch Brothers, and big Oil and all the

corner dwelling CEO's at all the big corporations

who will donate part of their annual Christmas

bonuses to shore up Tanner John and his cohorts

in crime in the house to ensure they have a Merry

Christmas and an even happier New Year.

When President Obama offered a bill to

modestly increase the taxes of the Uber-rich, so

that they would shoulder more of their fair share of

the tax burden, Johnny Boehner the George

Hamilton of the congressional set and his gaggle

of geese immediately began honking, 'Class

Warfare!" Class Warfare! Class Warfare!" But,

now that they have an opportunity to help ensure

a more merrier Christmas and a little happier New

Year for millions of Americans not in the 1 percent.

It's Bah Hum Bug! No cries of 'Class Warfare' ring

out from the aisles of congress now! Why not?

Because the warfare is on the middle class and

the jobless and the poor and disadvantaged and

John Boehner and company don't care about

those classes of America. They can't give Ole

Johnny Two Tone and his cronies any money to

ka-ching into their campaign coffers. So sorry, but

they are in Boehner's own words 'Chicken Sh*t

and don't count in the overall scheme of things

American.

lf you can't genuflect to the Koch Brothers or

provide their shills in congress with a lot of moola

for their re-election you don't count for much of

anything. John 'Tan and Tone' and company are

thumbing their noses at the other 99 percent. They

are telling us we don't count for 'Chicken Sh*t'! We

know where they stand! My question is where do

we the other 99 percent stand?" ----- Bob Bearden

""So keep fightin' for freedom & justice, beloveds, but don't you forget to have fun doin' it. Lord, let your laughter ring forth.

Be outrageous, ridicule the fraidy-cats, rejoice in all the oddities that freedom can produce. And when you get through

kickin' ass & celebratin' the sheer joy of a good fight, be sure to tell those who come after how much fun it was.” "
