ACCA students that they are lacking competency in perform-

ing research and analysis. Therefore, ACCA has been working

closely with Oxford Brookes university (UK) to overcome this

shortcoming by introducing the OBU Degree.

Upon passing your ACCA Skills Module, you may complete

based on your selected topic, a research and analysis report

along with a key Skills and Learning Statement to Oxford Brookes

Your thesis will be assessment; you will be awarded the Oxford

Brookes Bsc (Hons) Degree in Applied Accounting title.

EligibilityTo be awarded the BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting you must:- Be eligible for the degree. This means you must be registered with Oxford Brookes University i.e. opted-in to the BSc degree scheme before passing any of the three ACCA Skills papers, F7, F8 and F9- pass the three ACCA Skills papers F7, F8 and F9 and pass other papers as required to successfully complete all nine Fundamentals level papers- complete the ACCA Professional Ethics module before 27th September 2012- complete and pass the Oxford Brookes University Research and Analysis Project & Skills and Learning Statement.The degree must be completed within 10 years of your start date onto theACCA’s professional qualification otherwise your eligibility will be withdrawn
