spectrum across which the toxic environment would still be expected to have a visible impact.

Les Smith had an active profile in 2014 but no posts about Israel were found. He suddenly exploded

with Israel interest in November and December 2015 (twenty articles). One month after he posted a

‘Corbyn is calling us home’ article:

James Birkett was posting support for Labour in 2014 and it seems to imply possible membership:2

He did post a handful of anti-Israel articles during the 2014 conflict (four). He quickly identified

Corbyn as the great hope. He posted several articles about needing to join.

Mark Simmons-Jenkins also posted several anti-Israel articles in 2014, from sources such as Stop the

War Coalition and Middle East monitor.

There were another three between January and September 2015. Between October and December

there were twenty. In 2016 there were forty.

He jumped on the Corbyn bandwagon in Sep 2015 and had voting rights in the 2016 leadership

election:

Ian Hilpus is a proud member of the Labour Party:


He had an active FB page, but no Israel related posts until the pro-Corbyn articles started to fill his

time-stream in 2016. Hilpus seems to provide a wonderful example of how toxic the Labour Party

has become:

Yet shares articles from rabidly racist fundamentalist Christian Texe Marrs, who believes Judaism is

the ‘most evil satanic cult that ever existed and Jews are conspiring to overtake the whole world

through deceit and cultic worship’:8

Paul Reed’s Facebook account only starts in September 2017. There is no history to check. He was

already fully embedded into Corbyn’s environment from the outset:

He has posted dozens of Corbyn for PM posts has joined numerous pro-Corbyn forums and talks a

lot about the membership, but the research found no direct evidence of him admitting he is a

member himself. The antisemitism is clearly present:9

The person who made that global domination post Lizzie liked was Anne Read (who appears to be an

‘Anne Khan’, who claims her MP is in Waltham Forest) also appears to be a member:

Andrew Paul Thompson is a Labour member who wanted to stand for election:

He appears to become politically active for Corbyn in mid-2016 and sure enough the Israel related

posts soon follow. In 2014 and 2015 despite having an active FB profile there are no posts on the

subject. In 2016 there are 36.

Andrew finds cover behind Jewish Voice for Labour:

And almost as soon as he publicly endorses Corbyn, he is somehow immersed in rabid antisemitic

Thompson is clearly lost in a mix-up of Corbyn-style proportions. The old ‘Arabs are Semites too’

Thompson’s timeline is full of references to ‘Zionist interference’ in UK politics and he seems to have

relied on the fruitcake Tony Greenstein on several occasions to help him down the slippery slope. He

seems to have shared dozens of his posts:16

To be fair, taking Newspunch, Tony Greenstein and Electronic Intifada as your primary reading

material as you begin to investigate the issue of Israel, you really do not stand much of a chance,

which in essence is the entire point of this report.

Steve Wynne has posted 100s of Corbyn supporting articles and several of the ‘Join Labour now’

posts, although no explicit admission of membership was found. He is also a member of several pro-

Corbyn FB groups.

His pro-Labour stance saw prolific posting for over three years before Corbyn became leader:

Wynne is evidence of pockets of pre-existing antisemitism in the party support base, far more in line

with the antisemitism prevalent in hard-core anti-Israel activism. There are 100s of Rothschild

conspiracy, false flag and David Icke type articles:18

Like most of the hard-core, Wynne freely shares material from racist, extremist homophobic

websites fill of both anti-Muslim and anti-Jewish hate:19

There is something ironic about members who claim they are ‘anti-racist socialists’ sharing this

website so often. This is what it says under the section ‘treason’:20

Emma Rae highlights how this antisemitic conspiracy works. Emma has bought the ‘it’s all about

criticism of Israel’ argument and seems to believe she may be suspended for her beliefs. She tags 43

people into her post on the subject.

In total Emma has only posted about eight times on Israel. All of them since she joined a Jeremy

Corbyn support group.24 She has never even used the word ‘Zionist’. In fact, the only problematic

post was a share of a ‘mintpressnews’ article that deliberately span to suggest the incoming ‘IDF

Rabbi’ condones the rape of Palestinian women by IDF soldiers.25 Which shows how propaganda

pieces can spin stories to demonise Israel.

People around her are obsessed and posting antisemitic articles from hard-core junk news websites

and she believes she is a target because they’ve told her, along with several key figures in Corbyn’s

inner circle, that the Zionists are just trying to shut down criticism of Israel. Meanwhile she has

begun digesting raw anti-Israel propaganda.

Maltman had an active FB profile in 2014 and shared articles from the Labour Party. However, he

posted nothing on Israel, Gaza, Jews or Zionism in 2014 or 2015.


He got behind Corbyn in 2015:

Only in March 2016, did his public interest in Israel surface. A post of the type often used to suggest

Israel were either controlling ISIS or in cahoots with them:

He posts often about how there is no antisemitism in the party. Using Jewish figures to do so:

Alan has just been suspended. Apparently, he was reported to the party in November 2017. In July

of 2019, twenty-one months later, he is suspended:33

The Labour support mechanism, which seems to have introduced him to rabid antisemitic conspiracy

theory, now just casts him aside, leaving him in no doubt as to what is responsible. Zionists and

All he is doing is repeating the mantra he has been fed from within the system.

Except he wasn’t suspended for criticising Israel at all. Nobody is:

Justin Knight also appears to be a member. Like many others he backed Corbyn in the summer of

2015 and instantly his timeline was full of Israel related posts. His first Israel post:


Nothing between Jan and Jun 2015 and 40 posts before the year was out. Rothschild conspiracy

embedded into it all. Justin has shared many posts about Rothschild. Most of it from hard-core racist

His Facebook profile was active in 2014. There was a single post about the situation in Gaza. A story

from a medical charity worker. There was suddenly a dozen in 2016, another dozen in 2017 and over

thirty in 2018:

His only posts before 2016 about Jews were about Antisemitism Like this one protesting the

antisemitic slurs against Miliband:

That attitude wasn’t to last long. Calow is important because you there is evidence of his swift immersion in hard-core antisemitic ideology, yet at a time when he still had some remnants of a moral compass. He shared this deeply antisemitic article – but sought clarification. ‘Is this an anti-Jewish story?’ he asks. The article excuses Hitler and blames the Jews for everything: 34

By 2019, he was sharing articles blaming Zionism for all the evil on earth and wishing to exterminate

He had obviously educated himself on Rothschild Conspiracy within the Corbyn environment,

because by 2019, he had worked out what the real reason for WW2 was:

The article has been deleted, but from the comment underneath, it seems he had bought into the

very stories he was unsure of in 2016:


In reality his timeline grew increasing toxic from late 2016 and Rothschild conspiracy was swallowed

wholesale within months of him dipping his toes into it.

Without CLEAR guidelines from the party and within the toxic bubble being created, the Labour Party

was clearly radicalising its membership.
