The Queen of Pop, Madonna, had been teasing a possible performance at this year’s awards, posting a pic on Instagram of an award mixed with her Rebel Heart artwork, along with the caption, "Rebel Hearts see you Feb 8th @TheGRAMMYs". The performance will mark her fifth time on the Grammy’s stage, hav- ing joined Macklemore and Ryan Lewis last year for a rendition of' Same Love' and 'Open Your Heart'. Veteran rockers, AC/DC, will be making their first live appearance at the ceremony, since founding member, Malcolm Young, was forced to retire due to his dementia. He has since been replaced by nephew, Stevie Young. However, it is not known who will play drums for the band as Phil Rudd continues to face legal troubles in New Zealand. British singer, Ed Sheeran, will be giving his second Grammys perform- ance, after he paired with Elton John last year for ‘A Team’. The flame haired singer is up for three gongs at this year's awards including, Album of the Year, for X. Also with multiple nominations is country star Eric Church. Church has scored four nomina- tions, including Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Album, for The Outsiders. Rounding off the first list of per- formers is double nominee, Ariana Grande, who is up for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance alongside Jessie J and Nicki Minaj, for 'Bang Bang,' and Best Pop Vocal Album, for My Everything.
