• In 2010 The Cranberries commenced a reunion tour of 107 concerts that took the band all over Europe as well as to North and South America and Asia, culminating in the band’s fi rst ever shows in China in 2011.• The songs on Roses come from a band with a renewed hunger and in every corner you’ll fi nd the extraordinary sound of Dolores O’Riordan’s voice, the pivotal instrument which transformed the band from a group of young Irish hopefuls at the edge of the 80s into an MTV sensation and worldwide super group within just a few short years. The Cranberries debut album Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We? featured the massive singles “Linger” and “Dreams” and hit #1 in Britain. The follow-up, No Need To Argue cemented the group’s popularity via such popular tracks as “Zombie,” “Ridiculous Thoughts,” and “Ode To My Family,” ultimately being certifi ed 7x Platinum in the U.S. and 5x Platinum in Europe (hitting #1 in Germany, Austria, and Australia, and #2 in the U.K.). The Cranberries had four top 20 Billboard albums, 8 hit singles, and worldwide sales of over 30 million records.

• Limited version includes a bonus disc featuring The Cranberries live performance in Madrid, 2010.• In 2010 The Cranberries commenced a reunion tour of 107 concerts that took the band all over Europe as well as to North and South America and Asia, culminating in the band’s fi rst ever shows in China in 2011.• The Cranberries, Dolores O’Riordan, Noel Hogan, Mike Hogan, and Fergal Lawler, began their career in their native Limerick, Ireland in 1989 and sold more than thirty million albums worldwide in the nineteen nineties. Roses was produced by the band’s longtime friend and collaborator Stephen Street (The Smiths, Blur) and harkens back to the freshness and originality of the band’s fi rst two albums, 1993’s Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We? and the 1994 follow up, No Need To Argue. Prior to Roses, the band’s most recent album was Wake Up And Smell The Coffee, which was released in 2001.

• First taking to the stage in late 2006, Last Witness immediately caused a stir in the UK hardcore scene. For the next 18 months the band tore their way through the country on a relentless show schedule, culminating in a European tour before playing a sold-out farewell show at London's Barfl y. Blistered, ephemeral, exhausted, the band parted ways leaving fans gasping for breath.• Fast forward to 2010, when following the overwhelming response to the post-humous release of their originally shelved 2008 debut, ‘An Unfi nished Life’, the band reformed and unveiled an all new 7”, the acclaimed ‘Give Up’, and haven’t looked back since.• Now it is truly time for the next chapter in Last Witness’ career, with brand new album ‘Mourning After’ marking a signifi cant and undeniable step-up for the London quintet. Set for release via Shock on February 24th, 2012 (Holy Roar in the UK & Distort in Canada), ‘Mourning After’ is without a doubt the strongest, most ambitious, compelling and downright nasty Last Witness material to date - an iconoclastic mesh of crushing discordance and ethereal melody.• A postmodern lament of a generation without hope, ‘Mourning After’ will leave listeners both fl oored and begging for more as Last Witness begin their ascent to the upper echelons of the national metal and hardcore scenes. FOR FANS OF THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, ARCHITECTS, BRING ME THE HORIZON, THE GHOST INSIDE.

NO TRIGGERTYCOONNO SLEEP / PUNK

• The story of No Trigger begins in Massachusetts in the year 2000 when the impassioned hardcore punk outfi t made their fi rst splash with a series of self-released demos and split EPs, leading punk rock media outlets such as Pastepunk and Punknews to name them the best unsigned band of their time. Fast forward to 2006, the release of the band’s landmark debut (and to this point, only) full length album, Canyoneer on Nitro Records, an album that, regardless of any future releases, cemented the band’s legacy in punk rock forever.• On their sophomore release “Tycoon” (due February 2012 on No Sleep Records), No Trigger have compiled what is already being considered by many to be their greatest achievement to date, and an album sure to turn the entire punk rock community on its ear, again.• Recorded in Massachusetts with Defeater guitarist Jay Maas, the album is No Trigger’s most punishing and inspired material to date. Made up of non-stop anthem after anthem, Tycoon is a pitbull off its leash, but also completely necessary, motivational, and perfect for its time.• For fans of: Strike Anywhere, Kid Dynamite, Touché Amore

• Most bands capitalize on fads and gimmicks, chasing whatever is popular and hot, jumping from one genre to the next, but every now and then a band is able to exist and thrive because they do the exact opposite.• Bands like The Replacements, The Smoking Popes, Superchunk, Soul Asylum, and even The Get Up Kids have been able to connect to a mainstream audience because they wrote genuine, honest songs that spoke to people in a refreshing, straight forward manner. When these bands come along it's refreshing and they're welcomed with open arms and open ears. Lansing, Michigan's Cheap Girls is one of these bands.• For their newest and third full length "Giant Orange", the band enlisted Against Me! frontman Tom Gabel to produce the record. The album was done in Tom’s brand new studio, Total Treble Studio, a converted post offi ce in Elkton, Florida, and the result is 10 loud hard rock anthems that are sure to be listened to and appreciated by current and future generations of music lovers.

• Torch-singing, guitar-taming, pop-noir songstress Gemma Ray is one of the UK's most maverick and critically acclaimed female musicians/songwriters.• On March 2, 2012, Shock Records release her new collection “Island Fire”, recorded for the most part at Alberts Studio, Sydney. Gemma, stranded in Australia for the month of April 2010 after the Icelandic volcanic eruption grounded all fl ights, began shaping this album at Alberts during that time. So pleased was she with the results that she decided to return in 2011 to fi nish it, after stints recording in the island of Giske in northern Norway and in the Isle of Dogs, London. These circumstances and these environments go a long way in explaining the inspiration behind the album title.• Confounding expectations at every turn, she effortlessly blends disparate genres into unifi ed and grandiose sounds, as with her 2009 album Lights Out Zoltar! (which won an Independent Music Award for Best Eclectic Album). Gemma , though, has a different but equally powerful effect when she strips it back to voice and guitar, as with her 2010 covers album It's A Shame About Gemma Ray, recorded with Matt Verta-Ray of Heavy Trash.• 2011 has seen Gemma playing live with the likes of Grinderman, Kitty, Daisy and Lewis and Mick Harvey, but for the most part Gemma has spent the year recording with collaborators as far-ranging as Ron & Russell Mael (yes, Sparks), Thomas Wydler (of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds), and members of CW Stoneking’s Primitive Horn Orchestra.

• There is no doubt that one of the most anticipated metal releases of 2012 is the new VEIL OF MAYA album. This new effort will drop while the band is out on the massive North American tour with the legendary In Flames and Trivium, which is a must see for all metal fans. The band then heads to Australia for a highly anticipated run of dates in April 2012. BARBIERI, RICHARD & HOGARTH, STEVENOT THE WEAPON BUT THE HAND SNAPPER / ROCK

PPD: $15.98CD: KSCOPE204

• Kscope is pleased to announce the release of Not The Weapon But The Hand, the new album from Steve Hogarth and Richard Barbieri.• Hogarth is best known as the frontman of Marillion, the progressive rock legends that he joined in 1989, following spells in The Europeans and How We Live. In addition to the 12 studio albums Marillion have released in this time, he has also recorded and toured as a solo artist, under the moniker H.• In recent years Richard Barbieri has been a core member of Porcupine Tree playing keyboards on all the band’s albums since 1993 as well as releasing two solo albums, Things Buried and Stranger Inside. Prior to this, it was in the new-wave pioneers Japan that he originally came to prominence, helping to create the groundbreaking synthesiser sound that defi ned the band and infl uenced the likes of The Human League, Duran Duran, Gary Numan, Talk Talk, Kate Bush and a whole raft of other artists, including Hogarth.

• Its extremely rare to come across a new band that just fl ips the script of conventionality throwing caution to the wind, but the debut effort from T.R.A.M. does just that while blazing a trail of creativity that will quickly turn heads across the world. This unit will be referred to by many as a “supergroup,” however the members of this dynamic unit aren’t in this for any reason but to use it as a platform to further express their art without limitations or any preconceived notions.• T.R.A.M. is comprised of such renowned musically profi cient artists as Adrian Terrazas (The Mars Volta) on saxophone, fl ute, bass clarinet and percussion, Javier Reyes (Animals As Leaders) on guitars, Tosin Abasi (Animals As Leaders) on guitars and Eric Moore (Suicidal Tendencies) on drums. This is a group of likeminded individuals that are naturally gifted and the collaboration of their unique talents results in something truly amazing. • For fans of The Mars Volta, Animals As Leaders, The Bad Plus, etc.

• SSS International Records was formed by Shelby Singleton in 1966. Singleton, the husband of the singer Margie Singleton, entered the music industry by promoting his wife but soon carved an illustrious career for himself, initially working for Mercury before branching out on his own with SSS International and eventually purchasing the legendary Sun Records.• SSS International, along with its affi liates Silver Fox and Minaret, produced and released some of the fi nest Southern soul and deep soul recordings of the 60s. These two original Charly albums, originally released in 1978 and 1982, collect the fi nest of these tracks.• 51 tracks, 2CD in slipcase, artists include Bettye Lavette, Johnny Adams, Betty Harris, Robert Parker, Hank Ballard, T-Bone Walker and many more.

• The third album from the collaboration between Porcupine Tree drummer Gavin Harrison and 05Ric, the multi-instrumentalist, singer and extended range bass player. The album is released on Kscope as a 2 disc set, featuring the album on CD as well as a 5.1 Mix on DVD, allowing fans to enjoy the intricate complexities of the album in full surround glory.• Last year Gavin Harrison was voted #3 in Rhythm magazine’s top 25 drummers of the past 25 years, ahead of such luminaries as Neil Peart, Dave Grohl, Phil Collins, Nicko McBrain, Chad Smith, Stewart Copeland and Cozey Powell. He was also recently invited to perform on the David Letterman show as part of his drum solo week.• Best known for his work with Porcupine Tree, Gavin has also played extensively with King Crimson as well as providing session drumming for a host of respected artists but his work with 05Ric has allowed him to develop some of the work that he has created outside these projects.
