HARVEST FUN DAY

We started our Fun Day by feeding chickens

and going on a bumpy hayride. The children

and adults had an enjoyable time in the

garden digging potatoes, carrots, beets, and

harvesting corn, zucchini, squash and

tomatoes.

After everyone found a pumpkin to take

home, we finished off our morning in an

inflatable Castle Bounce House. A good time

was had by all. Thanks to all the parents who

joined us and helped in the supervision.

PARENT MEETING WAS WELL ATTENDED

Our fall Parent Meeting featured a DVD about

Montessori from American Montessori

International which was followed by a video

of our children at work in our classroom. The

parent meeting provided great information to

prepare us all for observations and

conferences. The DVD is available for check

out through our Parent Lending Library.

Thanksgiving Feast

We will be having our annual

Thanksgiving feast on Wednesday,

Nov 24th. The meal is provided by

Dylan’s mother and grandmother.

The produce is all grown fresh from

his grandmother’s garden. We will

be asking each child to contribute to

the decorations by bringing in a

gourd, fall artificial leaves, or some

sort of thanksgiving item of

decoration to prepare for this

festive occasion. Children may start

bringing in their items any time from

Nov1st through 23rd. The

decorations will adorn our table for

our meal at 11:00 on Wednesday.

NOTE: All afternoon children will

need to make arrangements to join

us in the morning that day. Morning

children can be picked up at 11:30.
