Note :-(i) Two (02) vacancies reserved for Physically Handicapped (HearingHandicapped) Persons, Six (06) vacancies reserved for Ex-serviceman and Three(03) vacancies reserved for Meritorious Sportspersons in the post of TradesmanMate only.

(ii) One (01) vacancy reserved for Physical Handicapped (Hearing Handicapped)persons, Three (03) vacancies reserved for Ex-serviceman and Two (02) vacanciesreserved for Meritorious Sportspersons in the post of Fireman only. Vacancies 'ofphysically Handicapped persons, Ex-serviceman and Meritorious Sports persons willbe filled first from any category and then will be adjusted horizontally againstrespective categories.

Criteria Applicable for the above Posts

2. Age limit: (On last day of receipt of application)

(a) Unreserved - 18 to 25 Years.

(b) OBC -18 to 28 Years.

(c) SC and ST - 18 to 30 Years.

(d) Ex-Serviceman- 18 to 25 Years (service rendered in Army! Air Force/ Navy +03 Years should not be more than 25 yrs on the. last day of receipt of application)

3. Physical Std for the Post of Tradesman Mate. Should bein sound health:

4. Physical Std for the Post of Fireman. Must be physically fit and capable ofperforming strenuous duties and must pass the tests specified below'- .

(a) Height without shoes -165 erns provided that a concession of 2.5 ems heightshall be allowed for members of the Scheduled Tribes.

(b) Chest (Normally) - 81.5 cms.

(c) Chest (On expansion) - 85 cms.

(d) Weight - 50 Kgs (Minimum).

(e) Endurance Test :-

(i) Carrying a man (Fireman lift of 63,5 Kgs to a distance of 183 meter within96 Seconds). "

(iii) Climbing 3 meters vertical rope using hands and feet.

-~-7. For Meritorious Sports Person. Appointment under these order can bemade of a sports person considered meritorious with reference to the following criteria :-

(a) Persons who have represented a State or the Country in a National orInternational Competition.

(b) Persons who have represented the State School Teams in the NationalSports/Games for school, conducted by all India School Games Federation.

(c) Persons who have been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiencyunder the National Physical Efficiency Drive.

(d) Persons who represented their University in the Inter-University Tournamentsconducted by the Inter-University Sports Board in the games.

8. All tests for the post of Tradesman Mate, Fireman and LDe will be held onscreening basis i.e. the candidates have to pass in the first test in order to be eligible for thesecond test and so on.

9. Departmental candidates can apply through proper channel.

10. Date and Time of test and Interview will be intimated by post separately.

11. The selected candidates are required to produce certificate of medical fitness fromprescribed medical authorities before appointment.

12. Candidates selected will be on probation for a period of two years'.

13. Disqualification. Any of the following act/omission would render a candidatedisqualified: -

(a) Furnishing of false, inaccurate or tampered information Or documents.

(b) Obtaining support for his candidature by any means.

(c) Submitting fabricated docJment.

(iii) Certificate issued by the competent authority in support of the claim ofOBC/SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/Physically Handicapped (PH) and MeritoriousSportsman.

(iv) Current Employment Exchange Registration Card if held.

(v) Domicile certificate issued by the competent authority.

(vi) Any other documents relevant in support of information furnished in theapplication form.

(d) Any variation in the data written by the applicant in the application form, withthe attached documents and failure to meet the requirements given above will makethe applicant liable for rejection.

15. The candidates who fulfill above requirement may forwarded application to, theCommanding Officer, 6 Mountain Division Ordnance Unit, PIN~909006, clo 56 APO asper format appended below along with the Photostat copies of testimonial and a selfaddressed envelope duly affixed with Rs 25/- stamp within 2,1 days of publication of theadvt duly indicating the post applied for on the top of envelope Le. "Application forthe post of ". No application will be accepted and no admission card will beforwarded for application received after 1800h on last date of receipt of application."Depending upon the number of applications received the unit reserves the right to short listthe number of applicants to be called for physical test 'following a rational/logical criteria tobe recorded in writing in the board proceedings".

18. Candidate will produce his original documents at the time of recruitment otherwisethey will not be allowed to appear in recruitment.

23. If call letter has not been received by an applicant then it is likely that his applicationhas been rejected for reasons such as Application not received/late received/rejected orlost in post and no correspondence in this connection will be entertained.

24. Any dispute with regards to the recruitment will be subject to jurisdiction of Bareilly(UP) court only.

25. Central Govt civilian employees must furnish "No Objection Certificate "from theiremployer /Office at the time of the skill test else their candidature will be cancelled. Only theeligible candidates will be called for the written examination.

26. Incomplete/ ineligible applications will be deemed invalid and rejection withoutintimation to the candidate. Only the eligible candidates will be called for the writtenexamination.

27. To reduce the number of candidates for one category of post, screening ofapplication will be carried out based on the percentage of marks obtained in theexaminations mandated as essential OR. No screening of application is required in case ofphysical test wherever required. The candidate who fail to qualify in the physical test(Whatever applicable) shall not be permitted to undergo written test. Skill test wheneverapplicable will be conducted after written test and will be qualifying in nature- which will alsobe counted for final merit. Short listing of candidates for interview shall be carried out basedon the performance in written exam and physical test/skill test (wherever applicable).

28. It is made clear that merely fulfilling the basic essential qualification requirementsdoes not automatically entitle a person to be called for test/interview. The selection will bemade strictly on the merit basis. The decision of appointing authority 'regarding selection/rejection will be final. It is also made clear that the nunibers of posts/vacancies aretentative and recruitment can be cancelled suspended / terminated by the Command at anystage, due to administrative reasons.

30. Canvassing in any form shall disqualify the candidates. No enquiry orcorrespondence will be entertained.
