Use these signs in combination with the Shiny Happy Houses quilt pattern to make a fun North Pole scene!

HAVE FUN! I recommend using a solid color fabric for the background of the signs - it will make the letters show up better.

Trace or print the signs (including the words) onto paper-backed fusible adhesive.

Roughly cut out each sign, then fuse it to the back of your fabric.

Hold the sign up to the light (I just put it in a window) and the letters will show right through. Trace over the letters using a waterproof pen. (I use a fine-point black Sharpie - nothing fancy.)

Cut out the sign neatly, fuse it in place, and outline stitch around it.

If you like, stitch over the letters using backstitch. I like the way the hand-stitching looks, but you can also just leave the marker lettering as-is. :-)
