Mad Crazy ScienceBecome a mad scientist with household products! This camp is full of exciting, fun, hands-on science activities. Be a junior scientist for the week, and experience a variety of science adventures. We use an inquiry-based technique that allows campers of all ages to enjoy learning. You will design, create, build and assemble a variety of interesting projects.

Top ChefAre you an aspiring chef? Learn knife skills, cooking techniques, and menu planning in this camp. Then use your new culinary skills to compete in a Top Chef Elimination Challenge on the last day to win a prize.

Summer Camps 2012Week 1: July 9-13

9:00am - NoonCSI - Crime Scene InvestigationHave you ever wanted to become a crime scene investigator? Immerse yourself in hands-on forensic science, as you unravel complicated clues at a mock crime scene investigation. Just like on TV, you will learn what goes into solving a crime and how to catch the criminal!

Art ExplosionLet your imagination soar while

learning the fundamentals of art! Investigate many mediums of art, and learn to express yourself creatively. You will sketch, paint a bird house, and much more... On the last

day, your family and friends are invited to your art show!

Also, take home a backpack and a new set of art supplies.

1:00pm - 4:00pmSnack Attack!Hungry!? Learn how to prepare fun, fast, and fantastically delicious snacks. We will focus on creating healthy, nutritional dishes. Discover the best foods to eat, safely preparing food, and cleaning up after cooking. You will get your very own Betty Crocker’s Snack Attack! cookbook, as well as a self-designed apron.

Space-O-Rama Take a voyage of discovery into the atmosphere and beyond! You will have an awesome week of walking through the universe, constructing and launching rockets, building sundials, playing space games, and much more. This camp is a BLAST!

Crafty KidsGet crafty! Learn basic hand sewing, crochet stitches and other sewing techniques. Make a no-sew pillow and wind chime from old silverware. Campers will go home with new skills and crafts! Registration fee includes all materials.

Picture This Do you love to take pictures? Expand your photography skills with camera basics, composition, simple indoor/outdoor lighting techniques, candid vs. posed, photo manipulation and more! Show off your photos at the end of the week at a formal

exhibition for friends and family.

Note: Campers will need to bring a digital camera.

Passport to China!Go on a wonder-filled journey of exploration and learning. Learn basic vocabulary phrases, writing basic Chinese characters, traditional music, paper lantern making, Chinese paper cutting, and culture from a native Chinese teacher!

Twirl ManiaBe a twirling champ! Learn dance twirls, strutting, and marching skills. Learn basic twirling combinations and play games. Take home a baton and show off your skills in a performance for family and friends.

- All Kids on Campus day camps will be $149 each (includes a camp t-shirt).

- All camps are designed for ages 8-12.

- If camping for the whole day, each camper should bring a bagged lunch.

- Instructors are certified teachers or professionals in their field. All of our employees have passed a criminal background check and attended a training program.

- Camps have a maximum ratio of 10 campers per adult. Our program aides assist the instructor in the classroom and provide additional supervision.
