• California's new anti-bullying law - called Seth's Law after the tragic death of Seth Walsh - takes effect on July 1, 2012.  It requires every member of school personnel in California to intervene to stop student harassment and bullying. The No Bully System trains staff how to do this safely.

Why it worksTHE NO BULLY SYSTEM IS AN EVIDENCE BASED SYSTEM

The No Bully System is based on evolving research in neuroscience and evolutionary biology.

Solution Team® draws upon research findings that humans are wired for empathy and altruism from the first years of life.

The No Bully System recognizes that most students bully as a result of personal challenges—not a lack of empathy.

The No Bully System ensures that students receive help to resolve the underlying causes of their behavior.

Solution CoachTRAINED SOLUTION COACHES® CAN CHANGE STUDENT LIVES

Every school needs teachers and staff members trained to respond to severe or persistent incidents of student bullying.

The Foundational Training got our teachers out of their seats and challenged them on how to respond to difficult bullying situations. Our staff became fired up to make our school bully-free. You know that a training is well received when 13 teachers volunteer to go through an additional day’s training to become Solution Coaches®

Solution TeamSOLUTION TEAMS® PUT THE POWER TO SOLVE BULLYING INTO THE HANDS OF STUDENTS

Every school needs teachers and staff members trained to respond to severe or persistent incidents of student bullying.

We did our first Solution Team®, and when we checked in with the target five minutes after the team meeting, she reported, "Everything is fine now!! To say that my school staff was stunned at the immediate change would be an understatement.

Our MissionNo Bully’s mission is to bring innovative, sustainable solutions to bullying, harassment and violence in schools. We envision schools where kindness triumphs over prejudice and intolerance.

No Bully® is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. It began in San Francisco in 2003 as a collaboration of educators, psychologists and lawyers committed to preventing the current generation of students from enduring the bullying that they experienced when they were in school. Today, No Bully is helping schools in California and across the nation - from Hawaii to Delaware - stop bullying and transform into learning communities which are inclusive of everybody. Download the No Bully Brochure to find out how we make this happen.
